I can’t believe this actually needs to be said. It’s horrid that people say things like this. They have no idea what the people around them have been through, and even if the person it’s being said to isn’t offended, someone else in the room may be. Because it says you don’t care about suicidal people, you wouldn’t care if they didn’t show up to school tomorrow. If you can say it to one person, you can say it to anyone and that’s horrible.
