I got into wargaming and mini painting with Tau, so I'll always have a soft spot for them. Later I used to have a small converted exodite army. I just don't have much passion for Infinity like I used to since the end of N3. Not a fan of their recent designs/redesigns, and I can count on a single hand how many N4 minis I liked. Everything now feels like a soulless bland copy from another game/franchise. I was particularly pissed off with what they did to my girl, Marut, and, after the SP resculpt, there's little chance I'm ever coming back. There's a clear 180 from the sexy anime style that was introduced to me in N2 and lived on partially through N3, and my interests haven't really changed. It's a move that's intentionally made for mass appeal, and nothing about it is appealing. There's also an emphasis both in-game and fluff on their aggressively lame characters (especially the god awful aristeia ones) instead of cool nameless operators, so the universe feels smaller than it needs to be. There are a lot of issues with 40k as well, but there are countless alternatives and conversion opportunities to GW's minis especially with 3d printing, and, to emphasize that, I havent bought a GW product in more than 5 years - everything was either purchased long ago or gifted to me, and everything else is printed, converted, or 3rd party. So from my pov, it feels more like Infinity left me.
Also Necrons arent really my thing lol. I've only made a few posts with 'crons, and they were mostly because I just thinking to myself "cats...necrons...cats-necrons, cats-necrons, nyaaacrons?" one night, and gyarus another night.
