Honestly was more hyped on this first kiss than this one.
Also I’m really glad that literally nobody on this show believes Max and Caroline are just roommates
my only good side ft untamed hair
How is this still even going around? My favorite comment I read was when someone called me female Harry Potter bc #tru
you know what really pisses me off
when boys say some shit like “I don’t just ‘give’ anyone respect, they have to EARN it.”
Like communism, in theory, this sounds fine and equal, but in practice?
you’re just being a dick to someone and
you’re pretending it has nothing to do with institutional preconceptions that subconsciously drive you to disrespect a certain type of person.
so you can tell yourself:
“women and men are equal in my eyes, they both have the equal opportunity to prove themselves”
but everyone BUT you knows that it’s inherently easier for you to respect a guy who’s into sports, videogames, and tits just like you while a guy who sucks cock, an African American male you’re expecting to be “hood” (and thus threateningly alien to your pampered ass), and a woman you’re expecting to be a certain way, i.e. pretty and likable, have to “work much harder” to get you to treat them with any respect.
And that.
is what pisses me off.
to be fair many things seem to piss you off. although I do agree with you on this point
if the world doesn’t piss you off, then you’re one of the assholes making it a pissy place.
If you’re NOT pissed off then you’re sleeping or dead
Things I am so tired of seeing in fandom:
people shipping canonically gay/lesbian characters in het relationships.
people referring to canonically bi women as lesbians.
there being only like, four canonically bi men on all of television.
people who take popular slash ships and gender-swap one character (as in, write them as cis but the opposite gender from canon) so that the ship is het.
fanfic tropes that fetishize certain physical aspects of trans identities while simultaneously erasing the identities themselves.
making fanart of canon Jewish characters in Christmassy outfits or settings
maing creepy inspiration porn fanart of disabled characters, writing fanfics where disabled characters are ~cured~, or other fucked up ableist shit
making whitewashed fanart of characters of color
refusing to acknowledge bi characters AS bi characters cuz they “don’t like labels”
refusing to acknowledge nonbinary characters’ relationships as queer (looking at you, everyone referring to Rose and Greg’s relationship as het)
incest ships
pedophile ships
abusive ships
fanfics that depict rape as romantic
defending incest ships because “they’re step-family/adopted/foster family so they’re not REALLY family”

Steve: oh my god tony I'm so mad at you don't ever talk to me again
Steve (one day after): *sends a letter apologizing and telling Tony to call him whenever he needs him*

In case you weren’t convinced that hating yourself is a learned behavior
Physical shame comes from parents, teachers, media, and peers. It’s not something you’re born with. You were born naked, wonderful, and gorgeous, and no one should make another being feel as if that wasn’t, and isn’t true.
