I loved getting back into this world, Breathe was my first New Adult book many years ago and I can still remember how it affected me, it showed me a whole new world of books and for that Iāll be forever thankful to Abbi Glines.
In Like a Memory we meet the children of our favorite couples from Sea Breeze and Rosemary Beach but do not fear if you havenāt read those series because you can totally read this one as a standalone and you will enjoy it just the same.
This one is about Nate and Bliss, they met when they were younger and then at 15 they had a bit of a summer romance, Nate thought it was more than that but when Bliss stopped returning his texts and calls he gave up. Years have gone by and now he is back on the beach town where he met Bliss and it seems like fate when they meet again, only this time is different because Nate is engaged to Blissās boss.
Now if you like me donāt care for love triangles then donāt fret because this book does not have one, I know Nateās engaged and I donāt really know how to explain it but it never felt like a love triangle it felt like Nate and Bliss from the very beginning and it stayed that way throughout the book.
The book is exactly what I love about Abbiās writing, it was sweet, sexy and full of angst (not too much angst, just the right amount) and it also had that quality that Iāve come to associate with Abbi, what quality is that you ask? Well, itās the fact that you canāt stop reading!!!
There are so many more characters that I want to know about and Iām sure Abbi is going to give them amazing stories!
