“Really?” John smiles, sitting up straighter in his chair as he sipped at his wine. “Well, what is it?”
‘I might-no, I am returning to Baker Street. Tomorrow, if it’s convenient’- he said before he took another long sip to his wine, that tasted ridiculously good.
John breaks into a wide grin, clapping Sherlock on the shoulder. “That’s fantastic! Mrs. Hudson will be thrilled. She can know now, right? Everyone can know?”
Sherlock smiled as he nodded
‘It would be wiser if you’d let her know before she sees me. I don’t know if she’ll believe you but… at least the impression won’t be so high. Lestrade already knows, I’m certain. I’ve sent him some information on Moriarty.’
He laughed a bit- ‘Oh, this is marvelous. Finally, I’ll be able to work again. You have no idea of how my brain’s been rotting’
He drank what was left of his wine and pored himself another glass.
John raised his glass towards Sherlock. “To intellectual stimulation,” he smiles.
Sherlock lifted his glass a bit and laughed before taking along sip. He wasn't used to drinking alcohol all that much and well, he was never good at holding his liquor. His cheeks were already a bit pinker than usual, and he felt his body temperature rising, which led him to turn up his shirt's sleeves.
'I'll be moving there, first thing in the morning. But I have to go back to the hotel tonight because I'm paying for one more night.'

“Not really, no,” he shook his head. “There was a murder last week. The wife did it. Anderson was on Forensics. The entire case screamed ‘boring.’ Um…” he trailed, leaning forward onto the bar, sipping the last of his beer out of the glass just as the bartender walked up, pouring them each a tall glass of red wine. “A woman called in theft a few days ago. It was her laptop. I yelled at her, Lestrade pretended to reprimand me to appease Anderson and Donovan, although he knew I was right to yell at her.”
John scoffs. “Wasting our time with laptops. The world’s gone boring without you, Sherlock.”
He mumbled a ‘thank you’ and grabbed his glass of wine. He sipped on it as he listened to John, and chuckled.
‘The world’s always been boring, you just have to know how to notice when something is slightly less boring. Just a bit of peculiarity, that’s all you need’- he took another sip and smiled a bit- ‘however… I think you’ll be glad to know I do have somehow exciting news.’

John orders a bottle quickly before turning back to Sherlock. “I’ve grown used to them now. Even Sarah thought that was why I was so upset about you dying, because I was in love with you. Why don’t people understand companionship?”
Sherlock shrugged again and laid back on his chair, folding his arms around his chest.
‘I think you’re asking the wrong person.’
How could he ever nearly imagine what went through these people’s head? Though he had to admit (to himself) that the idea of John in love with him made something that resembled bliss grow on his chest.
He cleared his throat and pushed that feeling away. ‘Anything interesting happened lately?’ He said, eager to change the subject.

Alright so, I'm sorry, I hope you don't mind, etc, etc. But you were on my crush list and I've been ordered to kiss you. So. {She pulls him in for a kiss, then grins.} I apologize if I've caused you any discomfort Mr. Holmes. {A pause.} On second thought, no I'm not, but you already knew that.
-Sherlock feels Lilly's lips against his and think 'oh this again'. Somehow, almost every kiss he's given or received was under similar circumstances. He pulled back and cleared his throat while wiping off his lips with the back of his hand-
Ah. Alright. Fine. Uhm.
Who gave you these orders?
@Sherlock
Sherlock frowned and shrugged a bit.
‘Well, I think I already told you, relationships are not my strong spot. I just thought you might because you smell… different’
He looked around obliviously; trying not to dwell on the fact that he could also spot a faint stain of lipstick on the left corner of John’s lips. *Don’t mention it, might be awkward* he thought. Sherlock spotted the couple of kids he saw outside. The barman had taken their fake ID’s. Idiot.
“Oh,” John nods, taking a swig of beer. “There’s a…new girl, I suppose. Her name’s Tanya. She came and visited me at work today, which I thought was very odd. I only went out with her once, but now she’s texting me more than you do.” He smiles to himself. “Thinking about telling her I’m gay just to get her off my back. Do you want a drink?”
He chuckled, lifting his eyebrows and tilting his head a bit.
‘I thought you were avoiding the homosexuality accusations.’ -he said, resting his elbows over the table-‘Yes, I could drink some wine. Haven’t had any in a long while.’
