This picture has been floating around my news feed for some time, and it's about time I told you bitches something. Fat shaming and "skinny shaming" ate NOT the same thing. This is comparing apples to oranges. You're feelings are hurt someone said you were skinny? Oh please. Let me tell you what fat shaming is. This is when young women can't go to the same popular stores as everyone else because "oh I'm sorry we don't carry that size" or "oh those run small you'll have to get a couple sizes up" and you are already in the biggest size the store has. Many of these young ladies and women are forced to go specialty stores where things cost twice as much as the regular department stores. Fat shaming is when people go to an amusement park and are told "sorry you'll have to get off the seat belt won't lock". Look around you. Look at tv actors and magazines. Who are the most famous and "pretty" actors. 9/10 it's not the big girl. What's usually on the cover of those popular magazines? Loose 10 lb fast! Or how about the ones that point out how terrible certain celebrities look because they gained some weight. We live in a society that tells people it's not ok to be average or over weight. We live in a world where cloths are being made smaller and smaller, so much that even average size women "have to go up a couple sizes". What you all should ashamed of is making other women feel bad about their bodies. So next time someone calls you skinny, make yourself feel better and go shopping at any popular retail store and buy something off the rack that will look perfect.
