hooray!!! the switch game is finally coming out next year so @nintendo I have some ideas girl u better take notes
• imagine having a phone in the game and being able to text villagers and invite them to your house. you can do so many more things with it like check the map and see their real-time location, take photos and selfies with villagers, listen to KK songs, check the weather forecast, check the bulletin board for events, make notes, set alarms, check your bank balance, buy clothes online from the catalog & buy items from an online Flea Market from players all over. it just makes so much sense! in the beginning of the game, you should turn it on and open the selfie camera where you can choose your skin tone, facial features, hair style, hair colour & outfit.
• okay so how cool would it be if there are more areas to explore besides the town and the city. what if there were 4 different regions in the game like a desert, a forest, a cave and the island and these regions allow you to catch different bugs and fish according to the climate of the area
• FAST TRAVEL TO THE REGIONS AND AROUND TOWN. a scooter is available to buy from OK Motors for fast travelling around town, you can customise the colour and style. how about an RV that can take you to the forest and u can like camp there at a campsite. A quad bike for the desert. A yacht to Tortimer’s Island. oh and once u buy the yacht, you can find it docked on the beach with Kapp’n ready to set sail. and when you’re on the island u can buy a wetsuit which allows you to swim through the town waterfall and explore the cave. it’s just so open, so adventurous
• the 6 golden tools can be acquired from each of the different regions: the fishing rod from the island, the net from the forest, the shovel from the desert, the slingshot from the cave, the axe from the town fountain & the watering can from the city
• okay so you’re given a backpack in the start of the game to hold all your items instead of your pockets. You can buy new backpacks and bags from the shops later. Gracie could sell super cute designer bags. your tools shouldn’t be in the bag they take up too much space. they should be on a tool belt
• instead of 36373 fish in your pockets, u can have a fish basket, a bug jar and a fossil bag to stack items and take up less space in backpack
• okay so literally I want 1000 different species of fish & 1000 different kinds of bugs. That should keep me playing for the next 15 years
• when choosing your town, you should be able to choose from every town map available instead of getting an annoying ugly one
• you should also be able to choose your town fruit, Rover should ask you what’s your fav fruit while riding on the train
• the town should start fresh with no buildings apart from town hall, and Isabelle is waiting to greet you. she asks you to choose where you want your house to be and also choose villager house locations. then Cyrus should come and build the houses
• you then choose which villagers you want in your town from a pile of applications sent in by mail. after choosing, you welcome the villagers into their homes. you’re then chosen to be Mayor and asked to plant the ceremonial tree in town square
• Tom nook arrives and asks you to design his shop Nook’s Cranny in the empty city. You soon receive Public Works Projects from Sable & Mable, OK Motors, Blathers, Gracie etc. to build their shops & museum in the city which is accessible by a short train journey (no loading screen)
• the graphics should be super HD
• I think it would be cool if you could change the camera setting to see landscape from third person view instead of overhead. even if you could rotate the camera around to see behind building
• the water and grass should be super realistic in appearance with like reflection and sound. it should be green grass in summer, crispy brown leaves in fall, a thick blanket of snow in winter, and falling cherry blossom petals in spring. how cute
• if you’ve seen the Animal Crossing Movie u know how bomb the soundtrack is, it’s fully orchestrated.. they should use that in the game
• I think it would be cool if you could jump lol like over the river maybe. idk what purpose it could serve but listen. I just wanna jump sis
• in your encyclopaedia there is finally an icon that shows if you’ve donated the item to the museum
• flowers can be paired to make a bouquet. how pretty
• bring back messages in bottles!! I want a long distance relationship with a stranger
• there should only be one balloon every week which should drop super rare items from other Nintendo games ie. Zelda, Super Mario, Donkey Kong, etc. Just make things rare and less often, that makes it more exciting
• once you buy kitchen equipment, you can cook with spices, mushrooms, fruit, turnips & fish and invite villagers over for dinner
• u should be able to see what an item looks like while it’s in the backpack instead of placing it in your house to see
• place furniture outdoors and be able to turn furniture in 8 directions instead of 4
• be able to wear accessories over makeup, and more than one accessory at a time. oh and actual makeup like lipstick and eyeliner
• being out in the rain without an umbrella makes you sick the next day? so realistic and revolutionary
• being able to custom design pants, socks and shoes, and possibily different types of hats (top hat, baseball cap, etc)
• improved letter sending system where responses actually make sense (ie. compliments incite a joyful response, mean comments incite an angry response)
• write letters to mom and dad!!! I feel sorry for those hoes never recieving a response
• send and receive packages that show up in front of your house (especially for ordering things)
• credit card to buy things when you don’t have enough Bells in your pockets
• use that old dusty phone in your bedroom to change the date & time without having to reset the game
• umbrella you can spin in the rain! Whew
• get a text from Isabelle whenever a new villager wants to move in, you can then choose whether or not to accept their request. If you accept, you can choose the location of their house
• kick out unwanted villagers at the town hall. bye bitch
• mean villagers you have to work really hard to get to like you. it’s so satisfying when u finally get along
• villager relationships and drama. who doesn’t want this tea
• more NPC backstories, remember that mess with label and sable and mable
• seeing NPCs around the town when their shop is closed! they have a life too. they should have their own house in your town that you could visit after they finish work. and Isabelle should get Sunday’s off. not tom nook tho he can choke
• become friends with NCPs the more you talk to them, similar to befriending Sable
• select a best friend villager to ensure they don’t move away
• Blather’s lengthy descriptions whenever you donate something to the museum! I miss that
• UFO sightings and shooting stars
• after collecting all of Phineas’s badges, he sells balloons in the city again aww
• bring back Resetti whenever you switch off without saving. he’s iconic
• bring back Wisp the ghost, you can only find him from 12am to 4am on a random day and he grants you a wish
• bring back the Snowman in Winter, Saharah, Wendell, Pascal & other special guests
• bring back exercise with villagers when you wake up early in the morning, yall remember this?
• be able to wave at villagers again
• oh the train Station is run by Porter who allows you to travel to any town with gates open and accepting random visitors
• be able to choose the level of access visitors have to your town
• there’s a train that goes to the city
• Isabelle works at Town Hall with Pelly during the day and Phyllis at night
• you should be able to swim in the river & through the waterfall to the cave
• thunderstorms and lighting where trees get struck and you have to chop them down
• chimes on trees which play during windy days while the trees blow
• having a small garden with your house
• exterior house decorations for Christmas, Halloween, New Year, birthdays
• a garage to park your scooter, becomes available as a house upgrade
• your house can be upgraded to 4 stories and have balconies
• greenhouse to store plants
• bring back the town fountain where you are able to get the golden axe
• the river occasionally freezes during winter and you can skate on it
• the museum is run by Blathers with new gyroid & flower exhibits
• Nook’s Cranny which is run by Tom Nook, after expansion you can find Timmy & Tommy selling groceries
• Crazy Redd’s run by Redd, his shop is in a back alley
• Able Sisters run by Sable & Mable, they now sell scarves and gloves for winter time. Kicks sells shoes in the back room
• GracieGrace run by Gracie & Labelle. They now sell bags, designer shoes & jewellery (necklaces, earrings, bracelets)
• ClubLOL which hosts K.K. concerts every Saturday
• Fortune Shop run by Katrina who gives you daily horoscopes. Luna runs the dream suite in the back
• Bank run by Lyle who also discusses your mortgage, housing and the Happy Room Academy
• OK Motors run by Giovanni, Beppe and Carlo. They sell a scooter, an RV, a quad bike and a yacht which are all customisable
• Police Station run by Booker & Copper
• Re-Tail is run by Cyrus and Reese
• Shampoodle is run by Harriet who also does piercings, tattoos and actual makeup now once you are good friends
• The Roost is run by Brewster who gets excited whenever you donate a gyroid to the museum once you are good friends
• K.K.’s Record Store run by K.K. where you can buy records, music players, and instruments daily. He also sometimes sings you a song once you are good friends
• Astronomy Tower run by Celeste where you are able to view and make your own constellations. You can also flirt with Celeste again once you are good friends. Once you are very close, she gives you a telescope to put on your balcony to look at the stars
• Cinema run by Dr Shrink, he teaches you emotions
• Arcade to play mini games
• Restaurant where you can dine with villagers
