I like to keep an eye out for bumper stickers whenever I'm on a walk. Here are a few of my favorites
Bumper Stickers 2: Now With More Honking
Bumper Stickers 3: Crëaturës
Bumper Stickers 4: Keep Honking (Or Don't)
Bumper stickers 5: Bites and Bangers
i hate that diet culture means all the tasty drinks everywhere are loaded with stevia now. this isn't even a stance about health, I just think it tastes so fucking bad
It actually pisses me off in general bc several studies have shown that alternative sweeteners STILL cause insulin issues because your body releases it based on the TASTE of sugar, not the specific molecule.
On top of that a lot of the sweeteners, like monkfruit, are horribly extra sweet so it still fucks with insulin AND it tastes like shit and we'd be better off just titrating our threshold for sugar down to something more reasonable.
SOME people need sugar-free options and SOME people want calorie free options but in the vast majority of situations, alternative sugars are worse for us than just regular sugar. The issue is moderation.
Fanfiction is cool because you get to learn what other people's parents taught them the hymen is like
I know that I had somewhat unusually comprehensive sex ed but it still surprises me every time I'm reminded that some people genuinely think that losing your virginity is a capri sun kind of situation.
people will call rap overstimulating and then listen to hyper pop
i cant talk to people who hate on entire genres about music they have a sinister aura that i do not want to interact with
Even if it's Country?
yes hot take the hatred of country music as a whole will often come down to classism i love country music i love bluegrass i love folk and writing off a whole genre or type of music is crazyyyyyyy
I love birdwatchers they’re like “I just saw my ALL TIME FAVORITE BIRD SPECIES! I’ve always dreamed of seeing one in the wild! I am ECSTATIC!” and it’s the most boring looking little brown bird you’ve ever seen.
And I’m watching the video like “whoaaaa what’s it going to be! woodpecker? red-headed woodpecker? eastern whip-poor-will? northern mockingbird? it’s a Bachman's sparrow? oh, okay. neat.”
I feel like I need to show you a Bachman’s sparrow for this post to truly land.
Oooooh the most bird ever.
omg this is so me my favourite bird is the short-toed treecreeper and.
like. yea...
I’m sorry to admit this and I would never do it in real life because I have an immense respect for wildlife and specifically the delicate nature of birds. That is the most grabbable animal I have ever seen. It looks free for the taking.
> Get into color grading
> realize every screen displays color slightly differently
> realize every camera captures color a little differently
> realize every format and image editor translates color
> realize every printer deposits ink differently
> realize every kind of paper accepts ink differently
> realize colors look completely different under different lighting conditions
> ok I'm going to do everything greyscale now
> black density changes as ink cartridge depletes and depending on viscosity after multiple prints
> "what color white are you using"
> duckduckgo least painful method of death
reading so many fics n this is in my brain
The moment Obi-Wan finally got to use Anakin’s signature move against him.
The Twilight Zone: Our episode "A Slot Machine Chases You Around Physically" was meant as a cautionary tale about the predatory nature of the gambling industry
The Gambling Industry: We've invented the slot machine that chases you around physically from The Twilight Zone episode "A Slot Machine Chases You Around Physically"
That’s a real episode, for anyone who didn’t know.
“sparkling water” sounds… so pure. so aesthetically pleasing. but in actuality? it is…. Repulsive
My wife told me they used to have the lyrics and all the references of "American Pie" by Don McLean memorized, and then I said "American Pie is just Homestuck for the 1970s" and they said they were going to stop telling me things.
Can we make Borbipptiy Fucknutters happen? Can I get a Borbipptiy Fucknutters in here?
THANK YOU
Friendly unfriendly reminder that "Ovulation is like an animal being in heat and makes you stupid" has been a keystone of western misogyny pretty much since Europe worked out what periods are.
personally I'm annoyed by the socioeconomic conditions that made words like "unalive" necessary but simultaneously impressed by the linguistic adaptations young people have made to continue talking about important things while subject to those conditions and I think if you can't hold both of those thoughts in your head you might just be old man yelling at cloud
