Poems & Words
I love my job. I am so incredibly grateful to get to do what I do. Iām documenting this because there are days when I feel so worn down I start to imagine I should be doing other work and making more money. But no, hell no. I LOVE MY JOB. It is tiringā physically, emotionally, psychologically, mentally tiring, but there is absolutely no other job Iād rather be doing. I love my patients. I love that I get to make a difference in peopleās lives. I love that I feel that I am 100% getting to serve my purpose through my work. I thank God I didnāt settle for an easier job, a convenient job. I had many opportunities to do that, but I decided to take my time and to find work that spoke to my soul. Work that I believe in. Work that Iām passionate about. It just makes it so much easier to want to be great at what you do when you love it, when you know itās for the benefit of others, when you know you are changing peopleās lives for the better.
Thank you, universe, for always guiding me. Iāll continue trusting YOU. ā¤ļø
āIn a time of anger or despair, even if we feel overwhelmed, our love is still there. Our capacity to communicate, to forgive, to be compassionate is still there. You have to believe this. We are more than our anger, we are more than our suffering. We must recognise that we do have within us the capacity to love, to understand, to be compassionate, always.ā
ā Thich Nhat Hanh
āThere are many cells in your body that are dying as you read these words. Fifty to seventy billion cells die each day in the average human adult. You are too busy to organise funerals for all of them! At the very same time, new cells are being born, and you donāt have the time to sing Happy Birthday to them. If old cells donāt die, thereās no chance for new cells to be born. So death is a very good thing. Itās very crucial for birth. You are undergoing birth and death in this very moment.ā
ā Thich Nhat Hanh

This prayer by Elizabeth Gilbert deeply resonates with me. As I start the week, Iām keeping this prayer in mind. Praying for a peaceful and joyful week for us all. ā¤ļøš
āIt is not for you to judge the journey of anotherās Soul. It is for you to decide who you are, not who another has been, or has failed to be.ā ā Neale Donald Walschā

If I have ever hurt you, please forgive me. If you have ever hurt me, I forgive you. I know we are all just doing our very best at every moment. I know we all have our demons. I understand we each have our own battles to face. We cannot always be our best, but I know we are trying. Iām here to support you every step of the way. I ask that you do the same for me.
Iām grateful for your existence.
I wish you love and peace. ā¤ļøšš
