One of my favourite quotes...applies to so many aspects of life and as today is International Women's Day it seems right to highlight that we can all apply this to any time that we see women being put down in a convo or whatever for just being women. It takes a decision to actively help and support. The reason that it has to take bravery is because we are led to believe that we are just being petty by highlighting that what was said wasn't right. The truth is we know sexism is not ok. It's so obvious. But we are made to feel uncomfortable talking about it; having courage to not accept this is key. Not only key in helping to create true equality amongst men and women, but key to equality in all aspects of life, and key to the well being of ourselves, our families, our brothers, sisters, mums, dads, friends...everyone and the environment we live in. #IWD #HeForShe #equality #peace #wellbeing @UN @UN_women @emwatson #quote #UNWomen #UN #WeBoughtAZoo #courage ...all those 20 seconds add up.
