Life Lessons in my Dreams
I had a dream last night that seemed vey random, but after some thought. I realized that the dream applied to my life perfectly. It's amazing how much insight my dreams can give to my life.
The Dream: I was at a table and people were eating the most delicious oatmeal in the world. There was a bowl for me but i wasn't allowed to eat it unless I got up to find a golden spoon. As good as the oatmeal looked and smelled, I was too lazy to go find the spoon so I just sat at the table and watched other people eat.
Translation: I need to get off my ass and do the work to find the life, career, and relationships I want. Instead of just looking at/for it and hoping things will fall into place I have to take action whether I feel like it or not.
Moral of the story: Dreams are not as random as they seem. They are a way our subconscious mind communicates with our conscious mind. They call attention to areas in our lives that need closer scrutiny and provide insight that we are too busy to get during our waking lives.
