The inconsistencies in his story is so profound but I guess Black people's lives are not valued much. Jim Crow, slavery, the war on drugs etc but we shall over come. One day.

R.I.P Mike Brown #Justce? A facade.

The novel To Kill a Mockingbird deals with the stereotype that black men rape white woman.  It does not matter what the facts are.  Even though Atticus proves that Tom Robinson was innocent the racist residents of Maycomb Alabama have made their minds up no matter what the evidence.

  Fast forward to the 21st century it is now accepted along with high fat diets are bad and global warming that white police officers kill young black men.  It does not matter what the evidence is.  Like the residents of Maycomb there is a segment of the population that demands a pound of flesh regardless of the facts.  Like Mayella and Bob Ewell they would rather hurt others then confront their own failures.

Ever since we learned about the Panopticon in class I’ve caught myself always noticing where the cameras are in the places I frequently go too. Also, I’ve been wondering a lot more if there is actually someone watching me when I look at these cameras. Has this happened to anyone else since gaining this knowledge?

I have fought for my right to exist in a society that deemed minorities as sub humans, that is my fight. We live in a society where I am at liberty to speak my mind. If you do not like my opinion. Keep it to your self because you white people are so entitled you feel as if browbeating and stigmatizing me is right. Take a hike.

I agree that my choice of words were not appropriate but my opinion is valid. What was the purpose of the wars fought? How is it not about race? Who went to Europe to help whites who were thought to be in an unjust situations and yet still you have people in your own backyard who are experiencing worst injustice on their birth soil.
