Ayo! It's been a minute. I know I said I'd try to check on you biweekly, but time got away from me.

Anyways, How's it going? Did you end up getting that promotion, or are you still doing that training course? I hope you're healthy and well in the head. Enjoy the rest of your week! :)

Still in the training course! I’m stressed out lol.

I did pass out on the train yesterday on my way home, missed my station. That’s some shit that dust or horror would do.

Sigh. Why can’t I be a skeleton that commits crimes heinous enough to be recruited by a godly entity.

It is still ongoing I promise!!! A few posts back I mentioned how life hit me with a brick and I’ve only recently got back to getting on my feet.

This mechanic school I’m attending now is lowkey kicking the shit out of me, it’s a lot more studying than I realized and I barely have any time to myself that isn’t school focused. Once I pass (which will be near the end of August) I’ll definitely be back to writing more regularly.

I will say I deleted and rewrote like half of the newest chapter of it, I hated the direction I took after a reread and went a more logical route. I really hoped that I would’ve been able to write more while in school but for mechanic work they really like giving us written tests and stuff, more than actual hands on work. I do both, and my brain and body are actively sore 😅

How's that work course going? Doing well? Drinking water? Eating right? Just wanted to say we support you and wish you the best on that promotion! How much would your salary be then? I'm a little nosy

So I work for a bus company, I started off as just a cleaner, to get my foot through the door. The pay is about 20 dollars as a cleaner.

The course is to learn to be a mechanic for the busses! Which the pay goes up each year until you reach four years. Since I’ve been there for about three years I’ll be making 36 dollars and at year 4 I’ll make 40 dollars an hour. The course is going well, a lot of book work and learning basic electrical circuts right now, but soon we will be tested on taking out parts and putting them back in properly :) I’m the only girl there so it’s a lil intimidating but I’m not gonna let that stop me from doing my best.

I am eating well, and drinking lots of water, considering the temperature in my area has reached 103 degrees the last few days. I’ve actually been losing a healthy amount of weight because I have to take the train and walk 30 minutes to the school building each day.

I’ve actually written a smidge more on the train since I’ve not got much to do on an hour ride, not a ton though, I’m actually rereading my writing since it’s been a while and want to keep my story consistent and flowing.

Hey dude, How's the next chapter of CMSaHtD going?

Sooo a ton of things happened in the last few months. Like. A shit ton.

I got wrongfully fired from my job, spent months proving my case and getting my job back, a lot of paperwork and lawyers and bull shit, which burnt me out to all hell. But I did win! By a landslide actually.

After I got my job back i then had to argue that I was eligible to get a promotion because that’s what I was going for before I got fired. I won again, and now I’m being sent to a month and a half course. As long as I pass I damn near double my salary, so my focus has been very much on all of this.

I have written maybe a paragraph total for any of my fics in this time, and probably won’t get much done on them until I’m done with this course as it requires a lot of studying and working with my hands.

THEY ARE NOT ABANDONED. I PROMISE.

Thank you to anyone who’s been concerned, and continue to read and support my lil fics. Unfortunately life came at me with brick being swung in a sock. 😅

Happy new year to all!!! I’m so ready to leave 2025 behind me, to much bad has started to outweigh the good. I’m determined to have a better year, and I look forward to surviving, and hopefully, thriving through 2026 with all of you!
