Jades fav animal is horses like me. But she is fond of a few birds and reptiles. Mostly owls like the digger owl. And as for reptiles it's bearded dragons. Her patronus would most likely be either an owl of some kind or a deer.. don't ask why :p

Jade rolled over on the couch of the BnB she was starting at and glanced at her laptop. Seeing a notification flashing she’d hesitate for a moment before shifting to look at what it was…

A message from nibs. Man it had been a while… she’d move into a better position to type on handed.

“Hey nibs.. glad to hear from you. How are you and the family.? Sorry I haven’t contacted you or anyone else but life took a bit of a sharp turn for me. I’ve moved off the Island for a bit I’m not in any danger so don’t think that, I’ve just needed time to adjust to a new personal situation… I haven’t told anyone else yet”

Sitting back against the couch she’d sigh and run her right hand through her hair before reaching for her cup of cola.. she was still using the flashing light up cup that read space cadet on the side.

Nibs wouldn’t have been surprised if Jade hadn’t answered, after all it had been a while, she might not even use that messenger any more or something. So she was glad when Jade did respond.

She smiled at the notification, then frowned slightly at the message.

Nibs sat back and tapped on the desk, waiting for a reply, she really hoped Jade was ok. Work could wait a little while, while she made sure her friend was all right.

Hearing her laptop ding with a message back from nibs she’d shift so she could get a holo shot of herself.. before shakign her head and deleteing it… “ no…. n… i can’t show them.. not yet..” 

she’d sigh before resigning to working on a voice message

“ im doing, better than a few months ago,.. i had a bit of a life changing event happen… some how managed to keep it low down. we may have to meet up somewhere for a coffee or something…. out of public view,…. i can’t have this hitting the news before i tell the others”

Sighing… jade listened to nibs message… she’d have to show her. .. taking a deep breath in…and without looking at the camara she’d snap a pic and quickly add it to the conversation. Then after a few moment deleted the pic and tried to activate a holo call with nibs.. the words in the convo said..

“You need to see it… be prepared for a shock”.

If the call connected nibs would see jade sat slightly sideways before running her right hand through her hair to reveal…. her left side… missing an arm.. from just above the elbow down….

“This is the famous tracy and international rescuse member…. now… scared and… disabled more than just my autism. …”

Nibs happily accepted Jade’s holo-call and gasped when she noticed Jade’s injury. “Oh Jade…how?”

Nibs gave her a small smile, looking Jade in the face, she had seen these sort of injuries before, being a member of the GDF. A lot of them in her own team even. “Jade it’ll be ok, they have made a lot of accomplishments in the fake limbs department, I bet you could get an even better arm if you asked Brains nicely,”

Jade was a little taken back by nibs reaction... but gave a soft huff before looking to her. " I have no idea how to break this to the guys.... and.. I'm not sure brains has really worked on personal limbs or not... and as for how it happened.. I took a part time job helping ship animals across the contry.. we took all sorts.. form the tinyest to the largest.... we where shipping a pair of rare black rhinos from a wildlife park. To a more secure park where poachers could not get them.. and the truck they where in tipped over onto its side.. someone had to go inside to dart the male rhino..he was stuck under the female... and she spooked and crushed my arm between the metal edge of the container and herself... we where so far from any help.. we had to cut it off to get me out alive from the truck... Jade paused for a moment. ... grabbing a quick drink.. " I still have nightmares about it.. the team did the best they could in the situation.. calling ir would have been to risky for the rhino and me... T1's engines alone would have sent the rhinos into a frenzy. ."
