I mean.... Sure. Yeah, I guess but i just wouldnt enjoy this i feel and Also i just haven. Nitpicks.

Like... i wouldve taken the skin off the peaches for sure. I get it makes for a prettier picture, but texture wise.... its gonna be a slimey but leathery strip. And also the fact the peaches were done like that means its gonna be super uneven in the cooking. It just.... idk. Not a fan. Its definitely an image thing bc cutting through those textures is gonna fuck the cornbread up more i feel. Its gonna have wet spots, spongey spots, tough spots... idk.

I mean I bet its gonna taste interesting and probably good! I just... I cant see it imo. Not a me thing.

No your feelings are correct.

Jalapeños should be chipped up and incorporated. Peaches should be masserated down intoa syrup and spread over the top of the corn bread.

YEAH!! like, i feel like making a syrup or even like a peach marmalade/jam would have been GREAT on top of that!! I feel like the jalapeños left like that and baked in would get that kinda like... wood-y textures peppers sometimes get. Like the tough bite. But the fact that there was the base put in, it'd more likely end up just real soggy. I also didnt like how PALE the bottom of that cornbread looked. Looked fuckin.... white in some spots.
