xavier absentmindedly paced in front of the entrances to the cabins, for no particular reason at all — he supposed he didn’t take too well to a little bit of downtime, one where he couldn’t find a kiddo in sight or another counselor that he was closely acquainted with. coming to a halt in front of cabin six, he brought his hands up to shield his eyes from the sun’s rays, looking back once he noticed the figure behind him. “oh! i’m sorry! am i blocking the view?” he questioned, and before he received an answer, he took a sidestep to his left. “i’m real sorry, ma’am. i was just looking ‘round, i’m real sorry.”
“Oh ! It’s no worry man ! ” Joe smiled and did a double take. “ Hey I remember you from staff week ! Xavier right ? ” Joe was feeling quite proud of herself for recalling the name of one the people she didn’t know and stood up stretching out a hand, “I’m Joe.”
