Our Mall  Hopping Trip: Cartimar to Mall of Asia to SM Aura Premier

People always tend to go to other countries, museums, libraries and food parks when they hear the word TRAVEL.

TRAVEL for us means walwal *Insert laugh* meaning we go to places for fun and for the new experience in that kind of place. We can see and feel the culture and traditions of that place.

So for this TRAVEL Blog, We, July and Jethro planned for a new experience. Since it is common to travel to museums and libraries, we asked some people what famous malls are the most visited by people of manila and they said that we should try to visit this 3 DIFFERENT MALLS IN MANILA

die Reise nach Manila (The Trip to Manila)

Before we got to our first destination, We got to experience riding on a MRT train and LRT train.

It is fun because it’s our first time to ride it on our own but it is a little bit of risky because you need to keep your attention to your things and to your surroundings since there are many people who are riding a train and we don’t know if it safe or not. Also, when you are standing, you really need to hold for your saftey.

But it is a nice experience because we got to see different kinds of stations and places before we got to manila. It is really thrilling because we got to see different kinds of people riding it and a new journey for us to travel.

Touchdown #1: Cartimar Shopping Center

Our first mall destination is in Cartimar Shopping Center. Located at Cartimar Ave, Pasay City. There are many things to see there in the said mall but it is a little bit of hot but it is fun.

Before we got to Cartimar Shopping Center, we ride on a trycicle and the payment is expensive but it’s okay since when we got there, there are good stuffs, cute stuffs and many more to see and to buy.

When you go to this Shopping Center, you can buy things such as original shoes like airmax, jordan shoes, nike shoes and etc. Cartimar Shopping Center is the called “Bagsakan” of famous shoes and you can buy it in just a cheap price. To a expensive price to cheap price… REAL QUICK!!

You can also buy pets here on Cartimar Shopping Center. When you got to see this super cute and fluffy pets, you just wanna buy and cuddle them. This Shopping Center has a lot of pets to offer you, Starting from, little rats, to hamsters, to birds, to fishes, to cats and especially to the dogs.

There are also many things to buy in the Cartimar Shopping Center like clothes, pants, bags, fruits etc. When you go here, you can buy some affordable and cheap prices things and we all know that we want to get our favorite things in a affordable price so go here in Cartimar Shopping Center and get everything at a cheap pirce… IT’S AMAZING!!

Touchdown #2: SM Mall of Asia

Next destination is the SM Mall of Asia located at Seaside Blvd, Pasay, Metro Manila. SM Mall of Asia is called as currently the 4th largest shopping mall in the Philippines and the 11th in the world.

SM Mall of Asia is a good place to go because you can pick some places where you want to go. When you go to this mall, it is realy big!! You can even got lost here if you don’t know the turns of the mall.

There are many places here in MOA where you can go. for example the SM Mall of Asia ARENA where some concerts and sports event happened. The SMX Convention Center where some expo and events happens also and the oh so famous IMax Theater where people watch a hollywood movies and you can also watch 3D movies there.

But when there are no events going or you don’t have a money to afford some movies in IMax, there are still some places in MOA where you can walk, shop and see a beautiful sceneries.

One place in Mall of Asia that is the most visited by the people is the SM by the Bay Amusement Park.

When we’ve got a chance to go here, it was very hot but it is very refreshing because of the breeze of the bay and there are many trees surrounding it. People there said that we should come there night time because that is the time where the rides will have a wonderful colors and sometimes they have a fireworks display that makes your night really complete.

The SM Bay do really have a beautiful scenery. It makes you relax and makes you feel at ease when you go here.

And you can do many things here aside from walking, maybe you can try having a picnic there and you can also practice a dance here and even watch the beautiful sunset that makes the whole Bay enjoyable and alive.

When you go here at SM Mall of Asia, you can do many things here aside from walking to the Bay or watching inside the IMax. There are also activities inside the mall where children and adults would like to try. We don’t want to reveal it anymore

Just go at the Mall of Asia and try to explore this REALLY BIG MALL!!

Touchdown #3: SM Aura Premier

Last but not the least destination is the SM Aura Premier where it is located at Taguig, Metro Manila. According to some it was opened last May 17 2013 and it became a hit to all the people near in the said mall.

When we got to SM Aura, it was really beautiful and clean and you can really see that it has this Aura that “only rich people can enter” but no, All people can really go here and shop all they want and even do a window shopping if they don’t afford the prices.

Well, when we go to one of the stores in SM Aura... Well... We can say that “Only really rich people can buy this kind of expensive things”

But some people did not come to the said mall to shop instead they go to the church that is on the 7th floor of the mall called the “Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod”. It is also said that many people are attending mass here every Sunday espceially at morning and noon.

The Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod is not the only place of the SM Aura that is visted by the people, there is also a what we called “The Park of SM Aura” where it is located at the 6th floor of the mall.

When you go up there, you can see some beautiful scenery. You will be greeted by these building

And when you go to the other side of the mall, you will also get to see beautiful scenery like high buildings, and the beautiful sculptures that is designed beside the fountains.

It was really nice and refreshing up there. It is windy and it makes you relaxed and want to have a peice of mind because even though there are many people there, it is not that noisy and you can have to take a nice picture there.

There’s so much to do in SM Aura Premier. Since it is a mall, you can watch movies too, or even eat at a food courts or restaurants and even walk there and just appreciate the view.

This mall is REALLY LUXURIOUS I tell you... LUXURIOUS!!

July and Jethro’s Realizations and Tips

It is a good thing that we got to visit this 3 Different malls in Manila because it’s a new experience for the both of us and it is our first time to do this kind of travel, A Mall Hopping Trip. We got to go to far places such as Cartimar and Mall of Asia then another trip to the place where we are close to, The SM Aura Premier so it is really fun. We also got to see the differences of each mall and where they have similarities and it does really have a big differences so we suggest that you also got to try Mall Hopping.

July’s Realization and Tips:

Well for me, my realization was it is a good experience for me because all of this things are my first time and it was actually fun. I got to spend all of my savings and it was worth it. I got to see diffrent things and I’ ve conquered my fear of going to far places alone. It is good. It is fun and I want to do it again, But in a different malls in the other countries. I think that is cool *insert laugh*.

My tip for you is... bring a lot of money I assure you becuse when you got to try this Mall Hopping Trip, You can never stop yourself from buying something and even you can stop yourself from eating delicious foods so i suggest that. Then next tip is you should know the location of the mall so that it will be easier for you to go to these malls you want to try. And lastly is to enjoy the malls that you are shopping and visiting because it is the only thing that your mind can be relaxed and think positively.

Jethro’s Realization and Tips:

Travelling to different malls is a new experience to me and it is really fun. When you go there, you can see and do many things. Even though the stores are all just the same, you see many things and learn new experiences.

My only tip when you go do a mall hopping trip is you should bring a lot of money of course for transportation because you will go to many malls which are sometimes very far. Try it and you'll enjoy it. Also bring your friends and family for a better experience.
