idk if this account is even still active or if you check the askbox but i just wanted to let you know that i just discovered the gonecast podcast on spotify and have been enjoying it very much!! i’m so happy there’s a podcast for such a small fandom, even if yall aren’t putting out more episodes :)

Sadly not very active anymore but thank you so much for writing :) it means a lot as that was always our goal so even though we no longer are able to put out episodes I'm glad people can find enjoyment in what we did.

I also love Quinn and Lana's relationship (both platonic and romantic) so they're always a joy to write. Can't wait to show you all the scripts once shit hits the fan cause it was a ton of fun to write.

Ughhhh this one was soooo much fun to do, maybe my favorite to have written so far. I loved the Lana and Drake stuff, that whole scene is so tense and one of the few times we see Drake actually scared. I also loved the Caine and Diana flashbacks toward the end of the episode, I feel like it really showcases how there is affection there, though we may not see it on the surface. Onward to the finale! (it is a doozy)

This one was super enjoyable to write. It's pretty much split between the two groups for the whole episode and getting to write the interactions between Lana and our main characters was a ton of fun. I wanted to sprinkle in those Quana bits early to kinda establish their relationship heading into season 2, where it becomes more prominent.

This one was definitely the most fun to write so far, I had a great time with the Caine/Sam dynamic in the gym. Love the cliffhanger I came up with too.

I'd also like to make it very clear that I don't condone or tolerate the use of any hateful speech/actions, but Drake is a horrible piece of shit and would absolutely do and say what he did in this episode which is why I kept the scene and dialogue almost unchanged from the original book. I hope it's clear that what Drake is saying is offensive and wrong.

This one was super fun. Caine, Diana, and Drake are all super fun to write for, and I really like how this one ended, as it's the first event in the FAYZ that sort of sets up how dark this place could get. Up until Bette's death, it seemed fairly calm (though a bit unsettling) but there wasn't that sense of danger.
