Indefinite hiatus announcement.

I don’t know when I’ll be back. It’s not because of anons or anything like that. But somebody I love very much has currently cut me out of their life. Unfollowed me on Tumblr, won’t acknowledge my messages anywhere though I know she’s reading them. I’m confused and hurt, and she’s continuing to have activity on Tumblr like normal. New blogs, show watches, even went to see somebody, and she won’t speak to me at all.

Yesterday was national best friends day and mine won’t even speak to me. This has happened before but she normally lets me know she’s okay somehow. She’s never cut ties with me on any internet platform either.

It hurts to be here. I can’t be here. I’m sorry. I may never come back.

evelyn barely spared her a glance now, if she couldn’t handle  such cases than ABC agencies were not for her.

“We’ve considered the possibility of a team but the stab wounds are too similar. Same knife every time. Same amount of force applied, no hesitation marks. We think the victims they stabbed the least amount of times were victims they didn’t have a lot of time with. No sign of sexual assault - they get off on the stabbing.” Her tone became matter-of-fact as she settled back into the routine of shutting out the brutality of it all. Rossi had been sympathetic; said everyone had cases that just... struck them. She supposed he was right.

taking the manila folder, the weight of  it sent pain through her swollen wrist.  a grunt managed to bypass her lips  before she clamped it shut & opened  the file. her stomach had seen worse  but she still swallowed back the tiniest  but of bile.

‘ their eyelids are..sliced open to show  the eye but the care of the slice says  your unsub would rather not damage  the eyes. the tip of the nose is gone;  possibly a souvenir of sorts & oh it looks  like someone ate their lips off..’

Being re-confronted with the sickening details made Mina want to roll down the car window for fresh air - but she restrained herself, crossing one leg over the other to ease her discomfort. Five more missing persons reports matching the victim type have come in from Ireland in the last week, when we think he moved out of the US.”

she’s confused by her words, knowing now that she  certainty wasn’t from the cia. rules stated that one life  is not worth blowing operational cover. if they have to  lose someone for the greater good they would. she was  another pawn in the piece of chess & this woman had no  clue. slipping into the seat, evelyn kept her silence.

of course he is, his face is familiar to her; one of the lower agents  of the cia. she’s had him fetch her coffee once or twice & the woman  looks too young to work for the agency but than again looks fooled even  the smartest of men. a sharp jerk of her chin is all she says. knowing her  outer appearance matched that of her inner works.

“You’ve got more cause than most. We’ll see to that as soon as you’re safe again.” Mina disguised her concern with about six layers of professional politeness. This wasn’t the sort of work for nice girls. But she knew pain and trauma, knew it like an old friend, it had haunted her since childhood. Seeing somebody else suffer that only worsened her own aches. Their driver climbed into the car and Mina opened the door for the other woman, as yet nameless to her.
