a scumbag of a dad, he and his ex-wife Shana are the reason why their son Barnaby ran away from home. w/o getting into potentially triggering details, it’s for the obvious reasons involving certain “phobias”. and then once he realized he essentially chased his own kid out of their home, his wife left him for it, so. idk if it was a humbling moment for him or anything b/c he literally was just created as a reason for Barns to want to leave. at the very least i like to think it was a turning point for him, but at the same time i honestly don’t give a real shit b/c i probably won’t think about him for literally anything else, kjshgkhk. he served a shitty purpose, but it was served nonetheless, so. one and done; bye-bye

jshdjf originally i wasn’t gonna bother w/ giving her a post, but i guess this way i won’t have to wait until next year to make one, lol

when Tähtien moved on from the Inquisitorious to Comms, i knew i had to give them a new rival. so honestly it just felt right that Gathens had to be related to Antolemy, but i didn’t want to make them brothers (even if they were sort of raised as such). thus, i decided to make them cousins through their mothers.

the Wikksen family is honestly a run-of-the-mill, middle to upper class family from Coruscant (here’s a post about her dad Darryl and her mom Ussah), so there was no hesitation in their turn to and compliance with the Empire; same w/ the two families the daughters married into. Feldine, being the older sister, got married and had a son before her younger sister Erika, but they remained pretty close. the thing is tho, it was more of a kind of survival instinct than a sisterly bond type thing? basically both her and Erika aren’t the loving, motherly types; they’re both extremely strict and no-nonsense, and when both of their sons died, they turned to each other less for emotional support and more for revenge-plotting. so needless to say, neither she nor her sister are gonna be showing up at the new neighbor’s house w/ a plate of cookies or some shit, lmao.

~one year later…

i mentioned it on her sister’s post, but once all the rest of their family died (as their husbands and parents all died in quick succession of each other, via the Battle of Scarif, the destruction of Alderaan, and the destruction of the first Death Star), they finally made the decision to fully join in on Empire antics themselves. that being in the form of both enlisting in the Imperial Army and becoming stormtroopers. but in the end, that just lead to their own deaths as well, during the Battle of Endor. and for the sake of poetic cinema™, everyone all ends up dying in the same order; Antolemy dies first, then Gathens. then Antolemy’s dad Gillby dies on Scarif before Harigold goes down w/ the Death Star. and finally Feldine gets to watch Erika die before perishing herself. b/c honestly it’s what this family Deserves.

happy birth to Tuli Valo! born on Nelona 31st, 22 BBY!

yet one of many Valos, lol; he’s Aamun’s son, Jumalan’s nephew, and Tähtien, Minun, and Auri’s cousin. he’s the “fire light” of the family and, for a while, was thought to be the sole heir to Valo Ætt. in fact, he was the first family member Tähtien met when they finally made it home to Bespin. 

he’s extremely protective of his family, especially after his uncle was kidnapped and returned without his child. he’d often stay out late at night patrolling the border of their city, just to make sure things were as they should be. at first, his mom actually worried it was borderline paranoia, but he assured her he was fine (which he was. mostly). and that’s also why when he found out Auri and Minun were planning on following Tähtien to the Taris Mission in secret, he instead volunteered to go with them instead of try and discourage them. like he would rather those he cares about do what they like but be safe about it instead of just not letting them do anything at all. so yeah, when it comes to fighting technique, being in a position of leadership, and just in charge of people’s safety in whatever which way, he’s pretty much got that down to a science.

but if you put him down in front of some cute guy, however (let’s say his future husband Barnaby for example), he has no idea how to handle that, lol rip.

~one year later…

so now w/ the addition of Arvokas and Taivas to the family, the biggest update is that Tuli’s technically not the big brother of the Valo kids anymore, but like. tbh he still is in spirit, even if Arvo is older than him. cousins or not, this whole family was close enough that Minun and Auri were basically little sisters to him, esp growing up. which almost makes it a little funny b/c ultimately, he gets along better w/ them then he did the other two at first and also b/c Taivas was still an infant at that point, but of course/as always, family is family.

i’m also pretty much convinced at this point that he ends up the proper head of Valo Ætt when his older relatives finally decide to retire or w/e b/c like. by then, he’s honestly already had so much experience w/ it, he’s really the most obvious choice. initially i kinda saw it as another generation of dual-leadership w/ Tähtien by his side, but i guess it’s like. i just see Tähtien more as being in a second-in-command or advisor-type role to him. so ye, that’s something he’ll eventually get to balance alongside his sort of LDR w/ his pirate medic husband Barnaby, lmao.

and just in case if i hadn’t explained it before, just like Minun and Preela, he and Barns meet in the aftermath of the Taris Mission and the rest is pretty much history.

once again i find myself having to correct a minor detail after changing Taivas’ backstory for the umpteenth time, l o l. while Taivas is still younger than him, it’s only by two years, so if we just consider all of them siblings then that puts Tuli as the second-oldest. as for how that changes their relationship, probably not by much?? now that i have a better idea of all their personalities, Tuli prob got along w/ Taivas better than he did w/ Arvo like just in general, but as they all get older and he and Arvo end up the heads of Valo and Málmur Ætt respectively, there’s definitely a lot of mutual respect between them two.

she’s w/in the last handful of “to fill a role” ocs i’ve yet to introduce; Darryl’s wife, Feldine and Erika’s mom, Gathens and Antolemy’s grandmother, so she’s part of That family.

born Ussah Quintowrell, she was originally from Alderaan before she met Darryl probably at some fancy function for Rich People™ on Coruscant. i also had to check old notes for this but apparently at some point i decided she was somehow part of the Galactic Senate, but frankly i need to read up more on how that all worked. for now tho i guess let’s just say she was politically involved. besides that, the only other real notable thing about her is that she was one of the Many casualties on Alderaan, as she and her husband were visiting her parents at the time.

hap birth to Umali Lulei! born on Nelona 22nd, 53 BBY!

or just Uma for short, she’s the mom of five badass kids (the last two being adopted), Bris, Zosella, Dreylin, and the twins Ohsini and Peihsa! she’s also nonbinary, but is totally chill w/ she/her pronouns. 

she’s also just pretty chill in general, like calm & collected but laid-back af; she’s like the definition of a “cool mom”. but if you fuck w/ her kids? you better watch your back, b/c she will not stand for that shit. all her kids are super badass fighters/warrior-types who could kick your ass w/o even trying, and they all learned it from Momma Uma. she knows how to play things smart tho, like i’m still trying to work out the details of her daughter’s exile, but when all that went down, she made sure Zosella was able to get off world safe and sound and w/o letting those who exiled her suspect a thing. so i guess you could say she’s manipulative, in a way? but hey, if it keeps her family safe, then hell yeah she’ll lie her ass off and keep you running in circles while she gets away w/ loads of shit in the process; you do not. fuck. with the Luleis. not while Momma Uma’s in charge.

~one year later…

it’s honestly still an ongoing debate on what’s up w/ the twins, like i know i said up above they’re both adopted, but i’m also thinking like. maybe only one of them is?? like no matter the final decision, they were both born on the same day, so twins or not i’m not changing their bday, lol. but yeah, b/c i still don’t know what’s up w/ Uma’s partner (aka Bris, Zosella, and Dreylin’s other parent), and it’s even more up in the air how she ended up w/ the twins. i like to think that the adoption route came from a close friend of hers or something who was dying, so she promised to take care of their child(ren), and that’s how either one or both became part of her own family. so blood relations or not, she loves them both so much.

hap birf to Preela Grenlan! born on Nelona 15th, 16 BBY!

oldest daughter of Sevlo and Weylani Grenlan, older sister to Naydelia and Chandi, half-sister to Jesse, and step-daughter to Leonnell Quithios; girl’s got a complicated but big and loving family, lol. even Meg’s like a mom to her too.

she was about 5 years old when her dad passed away, so she doesn’t really remember too much about him. i’m not entirely sure when her mom eventually remarried, but Leonnell had been around long enough that she’s always seen him as her dad anyway. not that she didn’t love Sevlo, but he wasn’t a super present father, and again, he wasn’t around for very long in the first place. so she’s particularly close w/ her step-dad, but also just w/ her family in general; she and her youngest sister do practically everything together. and they both take after their mom in that they’re super active/athletic; these dollmakers don’t do her abs justice, lmao.

what she doesn’t know, however, is that Jesse is actually her half-brother. they were raised together almost like siblings (she knew his mom was the head cook and that he didn’t know his dad, but neither of them really put two and two together, rip), so she sort of saw him as a brother anyway. and whenever she’d visit him in the kitchens, Meg would spoil her (and her sisters) w/ some sort of homemade sweets. so when Jesse ran away, she’d spend time in the kitchens/with Meg every day just to help out wherever she could.

around the time the Taris Mission rolls around, i think i decided on some sorta plot point where she and her sisters get kidnapped for ransom, b/c their mom’s a noblewoman of some description and might have money/info/something the Bad Guys™ want?? idk, i’m still working that out, but basically her and her sisters’ reunion w/ their half-brother happens some time during that whole fiasco. it’s also where she meets Minun Säteilevä Valo, and a number of years later, they decide to settle down and start a family (they have a son named Ilta Safiiri Valo-Grenlan).

happy birth to Barnaby Jacoby! born on Nelona 11th, 21 BBY!

a trans man runaway from Pantora, adoptive son to Lydas, and doctor of Barrow and Jesse’s crew known as the Siren’s Echo!

i haven’t thought too much as to what his life was like before he ran away (odds are it’s probably just gonna be a toxic/unsupportive family), but i do know he ended up under the care of some older doctor dude who helped him w/ his transition. and eventually that led to an apprenticeship, and how Barnaby became a damn fine medical practitioner himself.

sadly tho, there was an incident involving some gang the doctor dude had made a deal with, but it went south and the gang weren’t a real forgiving lot. Barnaby managed to hide well enough and avoid the carnage, but his mentor wasn’t so lucky. long before all this went down, however, Barnaby had discovered an old relic from the republic era his mentor had hidden away in their office, so while he had no confidence in himself to fight off the gang with an old silver lightsaber, he did manage to make it out alive w/ it in tow. he always keeps it on his person (or at least nearby), but he’s still incredibly hesitant about actually using it, as he’s not Force sensitive in the slightest.

~one year later…

well, he might not be a Jedi, but guess who has a boyfriend now, shjhsdjghf. during/after the events of the Taris Mission, he meets Tuli Valo for the first time, and long-story-short, they so end up married. it’s probably one of those sort of long-winded mutual-pining-but-both-are-oblivious-idiots type situations, lmao, b/c they’re both just super shy about this kinda stuff. it’s also a bit of a long distance relationship half the time too, but eventually Barns ends up staying w/ Tuli on Bespin, and there’s enough Force sensitives on that side of the family to help him w/ his lightsaber situation, lol.

i’ve also been playing around w/ the idea of him reconnecting w/ his mom Shana at some point. not entirely sure why; maybe just. to let him know that, even if it was a little too late, he did manage to get through to at least one of his parents about the whole him being trans thing. as always, acceptance doesn’t equate forgiveness, but it’s something at least (esp. since his dad Gambon continues to be a useless deadbeat, to no one’s surprise). b/c if nothing else, at least he still has Lydas, who’s the best dad he could’ve ever asked for.

tho less of an update and more of me being surprised i haven’t mentioned her yet b/c Serena was more or less the first person he met on Taris after fleeing Corellia. it was a little obvious he was pretty hopeless at first, so she took pity on him, but they became fast friends fairly soon after (and not just b/c trans solidarity, lol). i’m always having to remind myself of how my timeline works, but i believe it’s not too long after this when they encounter Jesse and start up the beginnings of their little pirate crew. either way tho, technically it began with Barnaby and Serena.

Happy Birf to the “twins” Eluzai & Elienai!! born on Nelona 9th, 23 BBY!

so obviously not twins in that they were born to the same family, but twins in that they just so happened to be born on the same day, and due to Circumstances™, they were raised together.

starting w/ Eluzai, the older twin: he’s Pantoran, deaf since birth, and possibly a little Force sensitive?? basically checking my notes he’s got some form of like a tremor sense, or that he’s very attune to vibrations and how things move when he touches them. but he does also have some devices on his arms/bracers that both help amplify those sounds/feelings and double as a way of displaying text to those who don’t understand sign language. it’s his preferred alternative b/c in general, he’s the quieter, more contemplative of the two. tho he never knew them, his parents were smugglers, on their way to Socorro to meet w/ a contact, and not wanting to be left out, regardless that her child was due any day now, that’s how he ended up born in the same hospital as Elienai.

speaking of the younger twin, Elienai: similar situation that their human parents happened to be on Socorro for a smuggling job, but they never got a chance to raise their child either. i’m still unsure of the specifics, but somehow both kids ended up under the care of someone native to that planet, where they grew up in that same sort of lifestyle. also not sure how or when they decided they’re nonbinary. also also they’re definitely mute by choice; at a very young age, they realized their brother couldn’t hear what little they spoke to him, so they just stopped bothering altogether. and while they’re just as fluent in sign language, being the more aggressive/impatient of the two, half the time their signing is more like just excitable gesturing, waving, or flailing–or even getting hearing people’s attention w/ clapping, tapping, or knocking on things.

she’s Jesse’s mom, so insert jokes about stacy’s mom/jessie’s girl here, sjhfdjsf

real talk tho, she and Sevlo Grenlan sorta had an informal thing for a short while and she ended up pregnant, but neither of them really wanted a committed relationship, so he hired her as the head chef for his House. but b/c they were technically from different social classes, they kept it secret that Jesse was Sevlo’s son [and also b/c he ended up married to Weylani (who’s aware of their past relationship, but is okay w/ it) and they had three daughters]. after Jesse was accused of some crime and fled the planet, she and Weylani became very close as they worked to clear his name and have others search for him so they could bring him home.

she’s pretty soft-spoken; not necessarily shy, but certainly not out-going, and perfectly comfortable just spending time in her kitchen. and she’s a very good mom; she and her son were very close. like there’s a reason why his eventual go-to pirate alias is Curry, lol

also she’s a lovely trans woman b/c yes.

honestly no real update w/ her; she’s still just the chill cookin’ mama of this family, lol. if anything, her relationship w/ Weylani could almost be seen like sisters, that’s how close they end up being, like each other’s confidants and that sort of thing. and once she and Jesse are finally reunited, she ends up loving Barrow just as much (as well as the rest of the crew). i mean she loves all her in-laws and otherwise extended family, but Barrow is her Jesse’s girl so of course she kinda takes priority in certain cases.

happy birth to Darrina Velki! born on Telona 30th, 27 ABY!

azaleas has like. no proper option to make Mirialans other than skin color, so i gave her freckles in place of her facial tattoos (and also why i included my concept art of her). but yeah, that said, she’s Mirialan, from the homeworld, but basically i wrote her backstory as being her parents died to some strange, viral disease that ravaged her hometown, and one of my other ocs Ihme was one of the first on-scene to help cure these people. unfortunately, he wasn’t able to save her parents, and she was still so young at the time, he took it upon himself to adopt her (esp. since she had no other family).

she’d still be pretty young during the events of the st, so this would be her at least a dozen or so years later. but that point, she would’ve followed in Ihme’s footsteps as a medical practitioner, w/ a specialization in poisons and disease. unlike her adoptive father, she’s not force sensitive, so to make up for that, she pours herself into her medical studies. so she’s a bit of a bookworm b/c of it, prefers to keep to herself. not in a mean way tho, she’s just shy and needs good friends to coax her out of her shell.

really. not much else to say, jhfjgh rip. i guess b/c like. the way Eri and Myrrine were raised, they always saw Ihme as an older brother, so even tho there’s only like a nine year age difference between her and Myrrine, those two are still like aunts to her. they probably all get mistaken for cousins every now and then, but aunts/niece is how they all see each other. also, given how shy she is, meeting them for the first time was probably a bit intimidating, like “wow, all these Force sensitives in one family; those are some big shoes to fill.” but both aunts, esp Myrrine, always make sure she feels welcome and comfortable. i just think out of all her extended family, Darrina likes hanging out w/ Aunt Eri and Auntie Myrrine the most.

Darthustra Morden doesn’t deserve a “happy” birthday. (born on Telona 27th, 46 BBY, not that it matters.)

may i introduce y’all to the unanimous winner of the Galaxy’s Worst Mom award. daughter of Mother Talzin and (unfortunately) mother of Tähtien, i’m still debating on how she managed to survive the Great Nightsister Massacre of TCW s4. one version is that she was far too ruthless even for Nightsister standards, so she was exiled/sent away to sort her shit out, but then the whole massacre thing happened, so she stayed in hiding until she felt it safe to go back. the other version is that Talzin predicted that shit was gonna go down, so she got her daughter off world beforehand so as to save her lineage or w/e.

either way, during her time in hiding/exile, she found herself on Bespin where she encountered Jumalan Valo, one of the heads of Valo Ætt and tribal leaders of Jah Karai. so needless to say, she was interested immediately. long story short, they have Tähtien on their way back to Dathomir, but by then Jumalan unfortunately realizes too late that she’s basically kidnapped him. so she holds him and their child essentially hostage while she tries to rebuild the Nightsisters (to no avail b/c she’s in all honestly incompetent af when it comes to anything relating to leadership). and for the first four years of Tähtien’s life, that’s how she earns the title of Galaxy’s Worst Mom. i won’t get into details b/c i’m sure there’ll be trigger warnings left, right, and center, but yeah. she’s a fucking awful person and by no means deserves to be a mother, let alone alive in the first place. which is why she dies literal minutes after selling her child to the Empire; once Jumalan finally wakes from the sedative spell she temporarily put him under, he freaks out b/c “how could you!?”, right? so they get into a small fight, he pushes her away, she trips and falls, hits her head on a rock or something, and it kills her instantly. and the galaxy was all the better for it

okay, there’s kind of a lot to update so short versions only. biggest thing is that she’s actually a mom of three kids now, as i’ve since given her two sons whom she tried to kill for exactly that–for being sons, not daughters.

so to continue her reign as Galaxy’s Worst Mom, her first partner was a Nightbrother named Aberrant who she killed when their son Dosada was born, but she tried to have him killed as well b/c obviously he couldn’t become her heir. so she left him behind, one half of his head fairly mashed, and w/ a name that wasn’t all that nice.

fast forward to after Tähtien is born when she and Jumalan are expecting their second child, but of course poor Oruzhiya nearly gets the same treatment. thankfully this time the father is spared and the son is able to fall into the safety and care of others w/o the mother being aware. and then fathers/sons/half-brothers are all happily reunited after this bitch finally kicks the bucket.

lastly, in terms of surviving the massacre, i essentially combined the two ideas above; Talzin and the rest (especially Ixu) agreed they should probably just get rid of her, but then visions about a possible catastrophic event became a good excuse to kick her out. and being the massive, self-absorbed idiot she is, Darthustra was none the wiser and died genuinely thinking she was destined to rebuild the whole coven on her own, to lead it herself. which. jhfjdskghjf as if.

having changed Taivas’ backstory for the umpteenth time, i need to amend how this bitch ended up w/ three kids. b/c i don’t want to make a whole other profile for another random dude to serve a super minor purpose, Taivas’ now-actual birth father is just a random Nightbrother who probably faced the same fate as Aberrant. Taivas is also now the middle child between Arvokas and Tähtien instead of being Tähtien’s younger brother b/c i decided that made next to no sense. so instead he also got adopted by Pious and got to grow up w/ his big brother before Jumalan came along to whisk them away, but yeah. she failed to have an heir twice in a row and took it out on both their fathers and nearly the newborns themselves; sometimes i wonder why tf i created this character, ghskjgh.

happy birth to Dreylin Lulei! born on Telona 21st, 25 BBY!

he’s. very new. to say the least, lol; i’d decided like maybe a week or so ago that Zosella’s family consisted more of just her and her mom, and something about her was giving me middle child vibes so i decided to give her two brothers. Drey is the youngest of the three Lulei siblings, and other than that, all i know about him is that he’s shy and gay, sjfhdjkfd. and i guess he’s a decent staff/polearm wielder? when it comes to combat. tho he’s too nice to want to fight anyone.

oh yeah, and i did end up deciding on the route i wanted to go for his sister’s background; basically she was exiled for some reason, so i sort of imagined it being like he caught their mom trying to help her escape and was immediately on board w/ wanting to help too, b/c they’re a close family and he looks up to all them a lot, being the youngest. so as much as it hurt to have to see Zosella go, he took solace in the fact that he did good in helping her get out safely.

so obviously he’s not the youngest anymore, now that the twins are a thing, sjhjfgkh. but tbf he was the youngest for longer than any of the others, so it’s kinda like. he feels immensely responsible for the twins b/c of how his older sibs looked after him, so now that it’s his turn, he takes it almost a little to seriously?? i wouldn’t quite say he smothers them, but he’s certainly overprotective to an extent. but i also feel it’s justified since how sad he was Zosella had to leave, so he wouldn’t be asked twice to go out of his way to make sure that doesn’t happen again to anyone in the family, but esp the twins.

and one more thought that just occurred to me: since the twins are Force sensitive, i like to think he was the one who discovered that.

hap birth to me and the Grim Twins, Hailgrim and Hildegrim!! born on Telona 19th, 32 BBY!

so. i did the best i could w/ what i was given on these dollmakers. esp. since making any sort of alien race on the guy one is literally impossible (so imagine Hailgrim has horns too). and their lightsabers should be bronze, but i had to give them that sorta gold-ish color since bronze wasn’t an option either.

but ye! a pair of Zabrak twins that were literally spawned from the idea of their names. @adhdgarmadon and i were talking one day, they were looking up names for an oc, and came across these two names. my brain was then immediately like “lmao, just imagine if someone actually had that name. ‘oh, what’s your name?’ ‘HAILGRIM.’” b/c apparently that was the funniest damn thing to me at the time, lol. other than that tho, i don’t have too much on them as seems to be the case more often than not, lately rip, but i do know this much: they’re both trans; they just sorta looked at each other one day when they were kids and agreed “yeah, we need to switch.” they’re both buff af and force-sensitive (thus the bronze sabers), but they work as sort of hired guns, doing any kind of mercenary work that pays well. and they eventually meet up w/ and decide to work alongside Zosella, since having a medic on hand is never a bad thing.

and i guess now that i’m thinking about it, i’ve been on a bit of an AC:Syndicate kick lately, so i can almost see a little bit of a parallel between these two and the Frye twins. which i swear was unintentional, rip

~one year later…

it’s now less of a “they looked at each other and knew they needed to swap” and more “they each decided it on their own, and of course through Force twins bullshit, the decision was made simultaneously despite the distance between them.” b/c now that i’m a bit more versed w/ Dathomirian culture, Hailgrim was raised by his mother Ixu to become a Nightsister while Hildegrim was raised by her father Pious. the main difference was that Pious definitely noticed early on that she didn’t fit in w/ the rest of them, at least not in that obvious sense. she was still rowdy and willing to put up a fight, but it didn’t take too many hints before he realized she wasn’t a Nightbrother. meanwhile Hailgrim unfortunately didn’t quite get the same treatment, so the Great Nightsister Massacre of Season 4 was a welcome reprieve. and then he was finally able to reunite w/ the rest of his family for a short time, before the twins inevitably decided to go out into the galaxy to make it on their own (once they finished their respective transitions).

they also got to spend a short time being older siblings to Arvokas and Taivas when their father became a temporary adoptive father to the both of them. the twins had been separated pretty early on, so only Hildegrim was around when Arvo was born. they spent about five years together as “siblings” before Hailgrim made his return, then another two years after was when Taivas showed up. then it wasn’t too much longer after that before this makeshift family started splitting apart. and while i actually haven’t thought about it before now, Hildegrim was at least cool w/ being a big sister. wasn’t really her forte, but she tried, lol. it was Hailgrim who had the hardest time adjusting to the idea, but w/ his father’s help, he eventually sort of warmed up to it.

the last big update is that once Zosella reunites w/ her family, and finds out that her own twin siblings Ohsini & Peihsa are Force sensitive too, she turns to the Grim Twins to help train them, even just a little. so to have a little bit of juxtaposition, Hailgrim decides to try and tame the wild child in Ohsini while Hildegrim tries to teach Peihsa to just let loose every so often.

Taivas’ story keeps changing, so need that to be reflected here as well, even if it’s pretty minor in regards to the Grim Twins’ involvement. b/c Taivas was born to a random Nightbrother father who was killed for his efforts, he got adopted by Pious the same way Arvokas was, so they were both a part of the family pretty much right from the start. so in terms of a timeline update, no idea where i got those original numbers from; must’ve changed birthdates between now and then w/o realizing, but anyway, Hildegrim is raised as an only child for about seven years when Arvo is born, then another five years after that, Taivas comes along. and later that same year is the massacre, so that’s when Hailgrim finally joins the party.

birth to Commander Atticus Polt. born on Telona 16th, 39 BBY.

now that i think about it, he was one of the first one-and-done type ocs i made (at least out of the sw ones). he briefly appeared in a short section of a longer fic i wrote for Tähtien, where he was just another in a long line of Rebel spies they caught in action. the difference w/ him was that he managed to successfully order an attack after a brief change of plans (since he was caught right in the middle of that discussion). however, Tähtien was able to trigger an alarm of some description mere moments before the attack commenced, so those in charge in handling those sorts of messes were eventually able to clean things up and round up all the Rebels. which led to a very unceremonious off-screen death for poor old Atticus here.

~one year later…

earlier this year, i was thinking about a prelude to that whole story i have where Roy and Asali tried to make their great escape from Ord Mantell to get her back to the Rebellion. and ultimately i decided why not have old Atticus here be involved w/ that.

just out of pure coincidence, he happened to be a witness to Asali’s run-in w/ some Stormtroopers, so he proposed the idea to her and her family to take her into the Rebellion, now that the Empire knew there’s a Force-sensitive kid on the loose. already working w/ Deasamu by that point, he promised he’d get her to a Jedi master who could help train her, so essentially, Atticus played a very key role in that whole setup. which of course weighed heavy on his conscious for years after Roy took her as a padawan instead and got them both killed.

one of the. nicer. Nightsister ocs i got, hfjkfsd. which still isn’t saying much b/c she’s still a Nightsister, but y’know what, i’ll digress. she and Pious actually had a reasonably amiable relationship which resulted in the Grim Twins, Hailgrim & Hildegrim (thus technically making her Mama Grim). and before the fateful Nightsister Massacre of Season 4, she had been raising/training Hailgrim to become a witch (this, of course, being before his transition). it was purely b/c of tradition, but i like to think that, had she survived, she would’ve gone back to Pious alongside her son and start on a path to understanding a better way of life (or at least one that involved less blatant abuse towards non-witches, fhjdshg).

hap birf to Shana Felidy. born on Telona 8th, 47 BBY.

Barnaby’s mom and Gambon’s wife, she’s a little. complicated. Barnaby left b/c he’s trans and found out the hard way he was living in an unaccepting household. and originally i was just gonna leave it at that, but then i guess a feeling started nagging at me, so now Shana’s side of the story has since changed. it took her son running away from them that finally made her realize how shitty her behavior was, how wrong she was to push him away like that, so now she’s trying to do better by the world. i like to think she tried to look for Barns right away, but even then she was pretty much too late. and idk yet if the two of them ever meet up again, but she carries w/ her a mindset that she by no means deserves forgiveness even if she’s changed.

so now she’s happily divorced and travels around just doing small bits of good here and there, where she can, trying to live her best life.
