while i'm on the topic of satosugu, i saw a funny skit the other day about how gojo turns into the grinch on christmas eve as a way to cope, listing all the reasons he can't hang out (self loathing, dinner with himself-- he can't cancel that again! etc etc)

as i was kinda giggling, i realized gojo never actually got to experience another christmas eve :/

ofc i know this part is played off as a silly joke, but i was depressed over satosugu this christmas eve and was feeling extra sensitive, so i had a thought like... yeah of course they don't see him clearly here, he just killed his best friend and a part of himself had been changed forever because of it. even tho he's applauding his students and trying to show up for them-- the blindfold and the mask are currently missing, even if only for a brief moment, and despite all the clear evidence standing before them, gojo is left unrecognizable.
