The infamous infinity room!! ✨ // In this room you're only allowed 45 seconds!! So when you arrive, have your camera ready and set to take pictures/videos as soon as you step in because every second will count. It is highly recommended to make reservations beforehand, otherwise you'll be in the standby line anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours or more, to which at that point, it'll be pointless because you won't make it. My best friend and I attempted to see the infinity room the other month. We got there at 1230 in the afternoon, waited an hour and half just to get into the museum itself, roamed around, and we waited in the standby line to the infinity room where we got shut down right at the cut off line. It stung my heart because we were so close to getting in after waiting so long.. sigh. Anyways, this time around I arrived at 10am. Doors opened at 11am and I was in the infinity room an hour later. Was it worth it?? To me, YES. It's beautiful and feels like you're in the galaxy amongst the stars.. just wish I had more than 45 seconds to savor the experience. Dancing in the rain ❤️ // #LACMA // For anyone that's never been to the rain room, it's a motion sensitive room. So what it means is that it will rain everywhere else around you, EXCEPT ON YOU. When you walk around, the motion sensors are activated so you can roam around and leave without being soaked lol. To go here you need to schedule a reservation or have a LACMA membership. When you're scheduling reservations, I would also make a reservation for the James Turrell ORBIT & breathing light room. No photos/videos are allowed but it's definitely something you won't forget attending. (at Rain Room at LACMA)
