In the land of Emir and Sheiks

Yes! It took me just a few minutes to jump on the opportunity and thank God..alhamdulilah in their mother tounge..I am here now in the land of Emirs and Sheikhs.

Well actually, I’ve been thinking of going in abroad for a long time already. I tried applying online - with SG as my number 1 target for migration. Sadly, due to some exorbitant amount for placement fees from various agencies I applied plus! plus! not to mention the uncertainty of getting a job if I opted to go there for tourist visa and applied directly; i just decided to scrap the idea. So that means bye bye SG for me.

Then one time this friend of mine way back in HS sent me a PM via FB..she was actually trying to get me invest in her business then from one kwento to another we ended up talking about me going abroad. She asked me to come in Dubai (initially) which I jokingly answerd back “ocge antayin mo na ko mamayang gabi jan sa airport nyo jan, papunta na ko”. Apparently she was not pulling my leg and soon enough we were arranging the trips and the financial cost of everything.

Of course, preparing all the stuff needed and money as well were not a walk in the park. There were days when I was unsure of my decisions. Also, I tagged my bf along with me so that means additional cost etc.etc. But khalas, it was God’s will perhaps because we were able to board those planes (yeah plural because we went to SG first to visit my ate and to avoid some problems in the Immigration) and reached this pretty good place called Abu Dhabi. Thank God.

Well I wont really burden you with the itsy bitsy problems I had before I went here bec. they were not really important,eh! Hahaha.

So there, I am already here and chasing my dreams. On my next post you can see my SG trip travelogue and some of the detours we had here in Abu Dhabi.

Anne is back.. Back again!

Yeyyyyy!! Sorry, too happy because I thought I already lost this account due to incorrect Pw.. but boy I was wrong! Haha. Apparently it is still the same pw! I am so ecstatic right now bec. I was actually disappointed when I couldn't log in few weeks back and I was trying to tell myself "hey its ok, you can make a new account" but deep inside I was like a mommy dog who doesn't want to part ways with her puppies. Sepanx indeed. Haha. But anyyyyway, all is well! Hahaha
