The Venn Diagram of Sexual Identity
The Doctor
1. Mom is always right- so save yourself the argument. 2. Always turn around and check the back of your reflection in the mirror before you leave the house. 3. Those posts saying to get up early and watch the sunrise every morning are bullshit. Sleep however late you want, the best adventures happen at night anyway. 4. If you miss someone, tell them. Odds are they miss you too. 5. Don’t wait. Don’t say you’ll be happy when you lose the weight, or when you get an A. You’ll always be able find something to put off your happiness; stop looking for it.6. It’s okay to feel whatever you’re feeling. 7. Take risks. It’s only scary before it happens. 8. Fat is not the opposite of beautiful. If you want to have pizza and ice cream tonight, that’s okay. 9. If someone invites you to do something and you don’t want to go, don’t go. 10. Your first love should be yourself. 11. Go to the beach. Who cares if your thighs jiggle and you have a comfortable tummy? None of that’s going to matter when you’re 80. 12. Never go anywhere without a book, a notebook and a pen. You never know when you’ll get stuck in traffic or find something worth writing about. 13. Be kind, but don’t put up with anyone’s shit. 14. Sometimes you need to put on sad music, lay in bed and cry. You’re going to feel like your life is ending, but trust me, it’s not. You’re going to be okay. 15. Take pictures if you want, but don’t spend every second trying to capture a moment you aren’t really experiencing. 16. Be grateful for your weaknesses and they will become your strengths. 17. I am a problematic person. I am crueler than I think. And so are you, the earlier you learn that, the better of a person you can strive to be. 18. Enthusiasm is cool. Don’t let people make you feel bad for being excited. 19. My life improved when I found beauty in things that were said to have none. 20. You’re allowed to say no. 21. Volunteer as much as you can. You gain more from it than they do. 22. Always smile at strangers. You don’t know how badly someone might need it. 23. Things aren’t always black and white and it doesn’t have to be perfect to be good. 24. If it causes your blood to boil, you must speak up. 25. Procrastination is a choice. If there’s something in your life you don’t like, you can change it. Don’t expect everything to come to you. Hard work rewards you. 26. On your rainiest days, it is impossible to remember that flowers still grow from the mud. 27. Always be kinder than you feel. 28. If you think something nice of someone, no matter how small it is, tell them. They won’t think it’s weird and they’ll think about it all day. 29. And I think the most important thing to remember is that everyone else is human to.

Abuse can come in any form of relationship. Here are signs that someone might be in a controlling or manipulative relationship, or the early warning signs to watch out for.
And for those of you on mobile

Double standards
-Does things that might be hurtful but downplaying your reaction. But if you do so they become angry or aggressive. -Expects you to always come through but rarely keeps their word if at all.
Treats you differently around others -Is kind and supportive around others but once you are alone becomes cold, distant or sarcastic. -Becomes angry or upset over something small you mentioned in passing. -Mocks/criticizes your friends and pressures you to get rid of them.
Abuse physical or emotional can happen in any form of relationship. Be it romantic or a friendship. And it can happen to anyone. They can sometimes be hard to identify or hard to get out of because the person being abused because they feel that they are at fault, can change the person abusing them or just scared to leave the relationship. If you can help them or encourage them to get out themselves.
Abusers can become most violent when they fear they are going to lose control of the relationship. Lashing out or promising they will change in the future. They can have a complete change of personality and become the person they were at the beginning of the relationship. Anything to get back into a position of control.
