Heads up, don't store your Colourpop Alexis Ren palette standing up, the bronzer side is not pressed hard enough to withstand this storing position. I store my palettes vertically (standing up) as if they are books (refer to top left pic), never had any problems with this style of storage since ever. Just now. A quick swatch of the new @narsissist NARS Velvet Lip Guide. I deliberately draw a small line of liner before swatching to see the opacity of this liquid lipstick. As you can tell, the liner is still peeking through and not fully covered. The coverage is sheer to medium, but buildable. It layers beautifully. It's feels good to put this in the lips, very smooth and hydrating. Stays on for about 4-5 hours before it starts to fade and feather, so I think it's best to line your lips before application. It's a refresher from the plethora of matte liquid lips. I love the texture, the flat applicator, the packaging, and the formula. Retails for $26. This shade is called Mineshaft 💋 described as poppy red. Will definitely grab other shades in the line as I love the formula.

Let's talk about face base, my skin type is oily/combo and my all time favorite 😉foundations are the following: 1. @fionastilesbeauty Foundation Concentrate both matte/and luminous versions. These foundations are amazing! Both are medium to full coverage, blends like a dream and stays on for a good 7 hours. It's like a my skin but better. My Shade is # 4 2. @lagirl pro BB cream, this bb cream is sheer coverage but has enough pigment to cover minor blemishes and redness. I also use this to dilute some of my thicker foundation and it does an amazing job! It's also very affordable $5! Win!! 😱My shade is Natural 3. @katvondbeauty Lock it foundation is a cult fave and it's worth the hype. This foundation is easily medium to full coverage and should be worn with a smoothing primer. It tends to cling to dry patches but stay on forever. 👍🏼My shade is Light 49 4. @milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation. The name itself describe what the foundation does. Probably my favorite drugstore foundation, it's full coverage and it covers every little imperfection that I have. My only problem with this foundation is that it oxidizes and the color matching is so limited. I had to mix shade 1 with shade 5 to achieve my perfect shade. But overall it's topnotch. My shade is a mixture of 70% #1 and 30% of #5 5. Loreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation, this foundation is also a medium to full coverage foundation that can pass as your skin. It's very thin but blendable. It also layers really well. It perfects my skin, giving it a smooth and poreless appearance. It's definitely one of my go to foundations. My shade is 104 Creamy Beige. 6. Honorable mention: Mac Pro Long wear foundation, I also love this foundation, I feel like it's the more expensive version of the Milani cover and perfect foundation.My shade is NC 25 #rideordie #makeup #itsreviewtime #foundation #liquidfoundation

Another first look from @katvondbeauty new packaging of the Shade and Light Contour palette. The case is not cardboard anymore, it's a sturdy plastic/acrylic case. The refills can be popped out with the small holes at the back of the palette using a metal pin. The Shade and Light branding embossed. It looks more polished and sharp. Love the design!
