Update-2 months in

Well it's been a whirlwind start to my life in Byron Bay. That stone and wood beer is so damn lovely, and so damn popular!! Long days and short nights as we struggle to meet demand and I get upto speed. What a great 'problem' to have though hey. The first 2 months have flown and the guys at SnW generously allowed me to visit the homeland to celebrate my 40 bday. There was a 1 night stopover in Singapore where I was looked after by some great blokes at The Pump Room in Clarkes Quay and Red Dot brewery. Well worth checking out the beers. Watch this space for tales of my shenanigans in Blighty

Simon and his brother travelled by boat to Australia to see if they could find gold. Well maybe it was a plane, and the gold was craft beer. After a stint at Red Hill Brewery, and formulating the Indian Black Ale, he packed up and moved north to Byron Bay, looking to bring his brewing magic to Australia's most loved new beer brand; Stone and Wood. That Pacific Ale is going taste good in the summer of 2011-12. Well that's the plan, hopefully he takes some pics, and shares his adventures here on Simon Pie Man.
