        “ listen it’s just stupid okay? i shouldn’t be doing this. it’s eating me up, and i keep smiling thinking it’s going to make it better but i don’t know… and i’m not blaming you, of course not. ” 

Violet frowned, glancing up at the tall blonde. “Whatever it is, it’s not stupid. You can tell me what’s bothering you and I won’t take it personally...Or at least, I’ll try not to.” she paused, letting out a light sigh. “Come on, tell me, what’s on your mind?”

Violet followed the blonde’s eyes and looked up. “What do you mean ‘them’?” she asked before glancing at the girl again. “I don’t think I’m following what you’re saying right now.” she furrowed her eyebrows, trying to think it through in her head.

jo teared with joy as she looked up from her baby girls eyes. “ so is my other little one, just like his daddy. ” she whispered out.as she reached over to the crib and caressed his head gently. “ i feel drained, but happy. very happy. ” she said softly.

Violet put out her finger to the baby girl, letting her wrap her small hand around it. She looked over at the other baby and smiled once again, “They are both stunning.” she nodded. “I’m glad you are feeling alright. Hopefully you’ll have a chance to get a goodnights sleep.” Violet said, knowing that it was likely that the babies would keep her up most of the night. “I don’t think you’ve told me yet but what did you decide on for the they’re names?” she asked curiously.

jo’s eyes fluttered opened and she let out a soft whimper. she felt sore and tired. she sat up slowly and looked around before her eyes landed on a little crib next to her. she teared at the sight of her two little babies. she gently picked up her baby girl first. “ hi. ” she whispered softly. “ you’re so beautiful, my little jordan. ” she cried softly and pressed her lips to her forehead gently. “ my little girl. ” jordan’s eyes looked up at her curiously they were blue just like her fathers which made jo’s heart melt. she heard a knock and looked to the door. “ h-hey. ” she said softly.

Violet smiled at Jo softly before glancing down at the baby. “She’s beautiful.” she mentioned as she approached the mother and her new born baby. “How are you feeling?” she asked down, lightly touching her hand to her back as a way of comfort. Although Violet had never gone through childbirth, she was aware how straining it could be and she wanted to be sure her friend was feeling well.

With his pen stuck between his teeth and music playing in his headphones, Taylor shuffled through old handouts, trying to find the right one for tonight’s assignment. He only noticed the pair of feet standing before his table when the song ended and the sounds of the cafe came flooding back to him. “Sorry, I don’t have another pen, try someone else,” he said, not noticing that he was speaking with enough volume that the entire room could hear him. He was so used to being asked for menial things he didn’t even bother glancing up at the person.

Violet furrowed her eyebrows out of confusion before shaking her head. “No, that’s fine, I wasn’t asking for a pen.” she explain. “I just thought I’d let you know that you dropped this.” she said, holding a piece of paper out to him that he had lost when he was going through his handouts.

          camille smiled and noodled happily. “ i have a chihuahua mix. he’s a cutie. he’s like my baby i guess. i’m really busy too but i pay this girl in my apartment complex to take him out when i’m not there. so we make it work. but when i’m not working i have one of those doggie purses and put him in there. anyways you’ll have to meet him. ” her smile stays soft though she laughs at her comment. “ well vi, kinda sorta only want to catch your eye. ” she mumbles and then giggles too. “ more cheesy? gosh, i got my work cut out for me.” camille nudges her then, grinning and eyes flicker to her hand that’s resting on her arm and then out the window. “ yeah we’re like… there. ” and they were. the cab came to a stop and camile took a hold on her hand lacing their fingers and leading her out of the car. camille grinned back at her and tugged. the sign read ‘lou’s’ with a plump chef stirring a pot and the color scheme was red and gold. camille opened the door and headed to the hostess. letting go of violets hand and instead winding a arm around her hips. a possessive gesture. a sign to show she was with her. “ hi. ” camille glances at vi and then the lady with a headset. “ canavaughn. ” she announces and the lady glances at a list and nods. “ right this way ms.canavaughn. ” and camille follows after her keeping violet at her hip. enjoying the live music and dim lights that danced through the room.

Imagining Camille playing around with a little chihuahua put a goofy grin on Violet’s face. “He sounds absolutely adorable. It’s nice that you were able to figure out a system that works for you and the little pup.” She perked her body up and gasped of excitement, “Awe, I’d love to meet him. What’s his name?” the dark haired female asked curiously. Violet looked down embarrassed, her cheeks flushed. “Well, it would be a lie if I told you that you hadn’t caught my eye.” she admitted, peeking up at the blonde again. Violet gladly took her hand as they got out of the cab. Her eyes scanned the outside of the restaurant for only a moment before they got inside. She smiled, looking up at Camille as she spoke to the hostess and then walked with her to their seats. She sat down and glanced at her new surroundings before putting her attention back on Camille. “Very cool.” she said, her eyebrow raised. “Live music and everything. I’m not sure I could think of a better night. Plus, I have great company.” she stated, referring to Camille. Violet flipped open her menu, looking over it as her body swayed a little to the music being played. “Hmm, everything sounds delicious. I’m not sure how I’ll be able to choose.”

“Honestly, watching alien documentaries has to be the worst thing for me to do. I mean come on think about it– not only is our galaxy vast and unexplored but there billions of others. Do you think they exist? Aliens, I mean– just chillin’ up there watching us. I’m serious.”

I think it’s possible. Honestly, I never really think about aliens too much because I find I find the subject a little overwhelming, y’know? Like, it’s crazy how little we know about the galaxy beyond us.

I went for a walk in a park today and was proposed to today by a some random guy. I thought he was kidding so I said yes until he called over half his family to come meet me. And I don’t think I’ve ever ran so fast in my entire life.

Oh my god, that’s the oddest thing. Why would a stranger just randomly ask you to marry them? It’s a good thing you got away before they started thinking of wedding dates.

camille felt a weight lift off of her chest. that meant she had a shot. “that’s pretty cute. like you. but no it’s not. well then i’m surprised. i thought you’d at least have a puppy.” camille while speaking has looked off and out the window but at her question her eyes drift to her sweet face. she was biting her lip. and she was so close to her body. she could just lean in and…. resisting the blonde cleared her throat, a sign of nerves and grinned slowly at her question, waving her hand carelessly. “me? line? pft.” she scoffs, camille’s blue hues sparkling.“no i’m just single. work keeps me busy. plus haven’t wanted anything for awhile?” and that was the truth. the blonde offered violet a half smile. “good news is this means i can flirt with you all i want. are my cheesy lines working?” she mumbles into her care carelessly, playfully giving her earlobe a single teasing nip and then pulling back slightly as she waited for her reply. 

Violet pouted when the image of a puppy appeared in her mine. “Oh god, I wish. I never got to have a dog as a child and now I’m always working. I would feel awful if I had a pet that barely got to go outside.” she explained. “Do you have any pets?” Violet wondered. Violet smirked at her modesty, “Please, you’re gorgeous. I’m almost positive that you’re catching people’s eyes. I mean, even when we had that shot coffee, I noticed a few people almost losing their footing because they were distracted by how stunning you are.” the small brunette pointed out. Violet nodded when she mentioned she hasn’t wanted anything for a while. “Well, it’s good to keep your options open until you find someone who’s worth it.” she agreed. Violet embarrassedly giggled, “Honestly, yes. Although, you could probably cheese it up a little more.” she teased. As hungry as she was, Violet almost wanted the almost privateness of the cab to last. Violet tenderly put her hand on Camille’s arm, “How much longer is the drive until we get to the restaurant??” she asked, biting her lip.

Plane just landed a few hours ago and as much as I love traveling thank god. I’m exhausted, plane ride was bumpy, coffee was burnt and the guy next to me kept drinking little bottles of whiskey and hitting on me.

All and all, it’s nice to be home again.

Oh goodness, you just need to add crying babies and it would sound like the plane ride from hell. Welcome home though! At least you got here safely.

As an impulse, Violet took her hand back looking up at Leo. “That’s really not the most romantic way to ask out a girl, y’know?” she raised her eyebrow at him, wondering what he was up to.

“Oh, well...I guess, at least you’re wearing underwear. Although, normally people wear a not-so-favorite outfit on laundry day. They don’t usually just lay around in their underwear but you do you.”
