"No, you’re not. And I’m not expecting you to do so, but I really need to explain you something, and I can’t do it here." He looked right and left without moving his head, there were just a few persons in the corridor, they weren’t paying much attention to them, but still it was not safe to stay there.
"Please, Violet…" He didn’t know what to say to get her again in her room, she was not going to listen to him, she had been spending several part of her life listening to stupid people trying to ‘fix’ her. Two words, two words and a pleading look in his eyes. That was all he had to offer, and he was waiting for a real miracle. He knew that she didn’t trust him, why should she? He wasn’t some kind of good old friend, he was just another stranger in a strange place full of strange people.
She took a moment to look up at him. Still transparent, she frowned at his suggestion. She didn't anything to do with him, much less actually go someplace with him. All she wanted to do was to go away. She didn't want to be stuck here anymore. They were wrong. Violet had powers and she wasn't making them up. If she got- no, when she got out- she could be anything she wanted to be.
But, if she was going to leave, she needed him to move. So maybe she would play along. What she needed was to get him to trust her and quickly she would push him away when she didn't need him anymore. Flickering back into view, she narrowed her eyes at him. No way was she going to make this easy for him.
"Why? Why do you need me somewhere else?"
