“i probably am, i’m usually the designated driver at parties and i’m fine with that,” he confessed, glancing down at the bottle in her hands and realizing that she was probably going to use that information against him. “fair enough,” he nodded, let out a sigh and took one of the shots. calling him that was definitely enough motivation to quickly empty the glass before looking at willow through his brows. and he already felt like he didn’t want to do any more of those. “the deal? i had no idea there was a deal. –and yet, how exactly do you want to make me getting drunk sweeter?”
“so.. you’re the boring one. that’s okay, cas, that’s why you have me for.” willow said with a pat to his back, as if that was supposed to be something to be comforted for. maybe to willow it was, and she planned to change than. even if the idea of having a personal driver started crossing her mind. a satisfied wide grin on her face as he downed the shot. “there’s always a deal. anyway, pick. option a, body shots. option b, truth or shot.”
She blinks in surprise, resenting the fact that she hadn’t realized this fact sooner. Unable to disagree, a pensive frown furrows her brows, lips pursed in thought as she studies the faces of the people surrounding them, a sudden coldness taking over her. “I’m not one for false optimism, but damn. Talk about dark.” Not that she was complaining ; the change of pace was refreshing. “We can’t assume they’re here, though. I think they have people planted. People who report back to them so they don’t have to ever be there themselves.”
Willow wouldn’t lie she’d noticed the other girl in between the crowd minutes after arriving-- She’d blame it on the fact she had chosen the highest part of the yacht. “Wow, you’re really passionate about this whole thing, aren’t you? Had I known murder talk was what got you going I would’ve started with that.” The words said with such ease as if she hadn't thought over their last encounter despite being plain normal.”So you think this is just like a whole web of people?”
“I mean,” Benji began. “There’s — What would be the reason for them to be here? Maybe it’s just a game of cat and mouse and they’re just chilling in their basement,” he suggested, gaze purposefully glancing just past Willow and not directly at her. It was hard not to imagine their previous text conversation and wonder how he was supposed to act in person. Did he pretend it didn’t happen? Seemed like the best way to go about it. “Hey, I mean… Maybe it’ll be like Piranha 3D. A blood bath. I love — love a good violent film scene.”
“Maybe they’re the kind of psychos that like to watch. I know that if I were pulling something like this I’d like to.” Willow shrugged, head tilting over at Benji as she gazed elsewhere but her face. She wondered how much until she could tease him about their last text encounter, only a playful smirk on her lips. “I don’t think there are any piranhas or sharks, though. The most danger would be the wild geese.” The though of anyone being chased by geese was almost funny. “Though I do prefer Final Destination if I have to pick on any mindless gore.”
“do you really want me to spend my night cuddling a toilet seat?” was all that he could say to seeing all of those tinny glasses filled with alcohol sliding towards him. his body wasn’t used to more alcohol than two bottles of beer, but it was clear that willow was up to challenging that. “and you definitely have to join me. there’s no way i’m going to drink… all of these. who do you take me for?”
“don’t tell me you’re that much of a lightweight-- that barely tickles.” maybe a little more than tickle, but willow had gained a pretty high tolerance over the years. “i literally have half a bottle in my hand right now, if that’s not joining you i don’t what is.” she scoffed, the challenging look on her face as she looked over at him. “lightweight.” she tapped on her phone and let the music that usually surrounded her place started to play. “tell you what then, let’s make the deal sweeter.”
there was a slight blush creeping up mina’s cheeks, a mix of alcohol and willow’s closeness that had her heart beating loudly. they’d been tiptoeing around each other for a bit now, and the excitement of things finally happen always got to her easily. “that’s exactly what i asked them, but clearly they couldn’t appreciate my face enough,” she said with a grin, nose wrinkled as she touched hers. the offer sounded inviting, and the world of possibilities had mina’s eyes sparkling as she sat back, eyeing her as if she was honestly struggling to think of a spot. “you’re too good to me, you know,” she said after a moment, leaning in closer once again. “it’s hard to decide, how about — maybe here?” she asked, reaching to gently press her thumb against her collarbone, tracing her path up to her neck. “feels like it was made for it, or to be kissed at the very least, and i can do both.”
willow wouldn’t deny she liked the effect she had on the other girl. it was the kind of effect she liked having on people, often playing around. to be far she simply liked having a reaction. “such a shame. their loss. means i can definitely top this moment.” a short chuckle, her next words teasing. “i have my moments.” a hum of approval, at the spot chosen, letting mina’s thumb trace her skin. “definitely both.” she said lowly, leaving a moment of silence between them before she pulled a single bill, rolling it between her fingers and it offering up for the take. soon, taking the bag and carefully placing the powder on her collarbone, neck tilted to a side as she did so.
“Yeah, who would’ve thought that the app would put a damper on the whole evening?” Addy gave a small smile. “It was a good time until then, though. I like the dressing up, it’s fun seeing everybody looking so different.” The blonde gestured to the bottle in her hand, then back towards the other person. “You want some champagne? It’s really good. Super expensive. I mean, I didn’t buy it, but I can imagine. If I saw it in the store I’d probably be afraid to touch it, in case I dropped it and had to pay.”
“It’s only a damper if you let it be a damper.” Of course it wasn’t like Willow’s name was in between the app. “Really? It’s porobably the dressing up that I didn’t enjoy.” she shrugged and flashed a short smirk. “I’m boring like that.” Not a second thought was paid as she was offered, taking the bottle and taking a swig from it as she returned it. “Oh it is, you know how to be extra and splurge on anything and everything around here. Not that anyone is complaining.”
scooting up closer until they were shoulder to shoulder, mina’s eyes went a little wide at the bag she pulled out. there was something magnetic about willow that reminded her of her high school days, made her want to get into trouble again if it was following her lead. “just once, ages ago,” she said, eyes on the powder as she reached to touch it like it was some foreign substance. “not a great experience, but mostly because i was left alone and i kinda freaked out,” she chuckled, turning to look at her, faces so close she would have just had to tilt hers upwards and her nose would bump with her chin. “but you’ll take care of me, won’t you?” she asked, the question low and heavy in its tone, in case her eyes weren’t already telling enough.
the small bag dangling between them, mischievous look on her face as she looked over mina’s expression. almost as if that was just what she’d been looking for. “well whoever was with you sounds like an asshole.” willow scoffed as if she wouldn’t be one to jump ship when trouble arised. but she didn’t think this would be the case. at the question, willow bit down softly on her own lip before bumping her nose against mina’s in a teasing manner. “why would i leave such a cute face like yours behind?” she asked with a tilt of her head before sitting back for a moment to open it about to dip the tip of her pinky, before she got another idea. “i’ll even let you snort it anywhere off me.”

A lean forward as he looked towards the sea of heads and bodies , lips pursed and eyes clouded from the haze of alcohol in his system. ❝ But uh - yeah. “why thank you, optimistic is actually my middle name, mr arrogant white boy.” willow said with a huge grin. because the truth? that wasn’t a quality she had by a mile. “hopefully you’re a good swimmer or at least know how to float.” she patted his shoulder before loudly sighing and looking up at the night sky. “done anything fun tonight? or at least seen?”
that was exactly why she didn’t want to come to the party in the first place. she wasn’t being personally targeted, not yet at least. but she was in the middle of the water with app’s most recent targets. she just didn’t have a good feeling about this. “ god. at least we’re in the middle of a lake instead of the atlantic ocean. ” she says, in attempts to make herself less anxious. “ i don’t think they’re here. or maybe they were for a bit and then left and are now gonna sink the whole thing. maybe. ”
“people can still drown in lakes.” willow shrugged, “hell, i’m surprised no one has drowned on the hot tub.” she added with a short chuckle. as if her comments weren’t probably poking on the girl’s tension. “it probably wouldn’t be smart to sink it if they’re still here. but then again, i don’t think they’re stupid enough to sink it while still here. hm, well there goes my fun.”

“in my defense-- i’m a simple girl. mention drugs, alcohol and the possibility of making out with someone cute and i’m all aboard. what’s you excuse?” she asked looking over at the blonde. “maybe not all of us, but this would be the perfect scenario if i were them. besides, there are plenty of privileged colleges out there. so who knows?” a shrug as she took a sip of her drink.

“jesus, can you look any more worried over here? you look way too pretty tonight to have that cloud floating over your head.” words that could be taken as a compliment or an insult escaping past her lips. sometimes the true meaning of her words getting mixed together even for her. extending a shot in maple’s direction, she gave a tilt of her head in offering and a short pull of her lips. “come on, this is a party after all. even with all the polished stuff around it.”

undoubtedly in her own little BUBBLE as she proceeded to consume one of the many delicious cupcakes throughout the evening, the brunette failed to notice if she smudged her lipstick or made a mess of herself. after all, she was too far gone to even care, until willow’s fingertips did it for her. glancing up at the other female, a playful smirk began playing on her lips as she wiggled her brows at her. “i’d be unfulfilled and heartbroken forever,” she replied, arm lifting up to go around the other’s shoulders. “ this cupcake is so good i want to have sex with it,” she then admitted, a chuckle dropping from her lips. “ — like not literally, but y’know… y’know, right ?because it’s that good ! “
"oh, i can’t have a cutie like you feeling like that, can i?” words spoken out so naturally. it wasn’t unlike willow to act that way around people she found attractive, especially not at a party. if her words would have an outcome whether positive or negative, always shrugged aside. a chuckle leaving her lips. “i get it. but hey, no judgement here if you actually want to fuck a cupcake. to each their own, right?” a shrug, before she took a gummy bear from the table and popped it in her mouth. “so i can see you’re clearly enjoying tonight. anything special happened yet? besides, being here with me of course.”
"so if you think about it. we’re all trapped in the middle of water. the three targeted people are in here, so that must mean whoever is pulling all of this shit is here, right?” willow pondered, the words thrown out carlessly instead of actually being worried. especially at her next words. “for all we know, this thing will sink faster than leo dicaprio after rose’s bitch ass let him go.”
