Grace spun around, shaking nervously of whom may be around the corner. She could hear their footsteps travel closer and closer, just until their face came into view."Papa?" She stood there, stunned at the person before her. "Oh papa!" She grinned, running and practically jumping into his arms. "You found me again. I new you would!" She buried her face into his neck. "Sorry for what?" she asked, her grip tightening around his neck. "You didn't mean to leave me this time, did you? Therefore you should not be sorry. It's just stupid for you." She grinned again. "It's been so long since I've had a hug like this. I mean granny gives good hugs and she looked after me well but I just wanted you. 3 weeks I waited. 3 whole weeks. The people stopped disappearing for a few days, me and granny thought we'd never see you again!" The tears began filling her eyes. "I'm so glad you're here!" She smiled.

When she called out his favorite name the damn that had held the tears didn't work at all. It shattered and broke down, much like himself. He wrapped his arms around her and held her like she was a china doll and if she was any less closer to his heart she'd break. He would break. "N-no. It wasn't my fault this time. I am still so sorry." He held her so tight he had to force himself to loosen his grip on account of the strangling factor. He smiled at the fact that it had been Granny to take care of her, which meant she was fed well and loved exponentially. He'd of asked only one other person to do that and they were in the island as well. "I'm glad you were well taken care of." He sniffed his nose and pulled away just enough to look into her eyes. It was like everything was right and wrong at the same time. He had his Grace and the love of his life all in one convenient place, but he still feared the evil that was in the island and the stark realization that they were almost completely alone here. It was almost like they had an island all to themselves that was not so easily lived on. As he looked into her eyes and the feeling of completeness washed over him, he knew that everything would be all right. "I missed you so much. Three weeks feels like an eternity. If I didn't have Ruby I might have lost my mind all over again worrying about you."

"I know." She smiled. "I found him! I was dying for a hug for weeks and weeks and when I finally got one I didn't want to let go." He grinned, her leg brushing against Ruby's as they walked. "Food sounds good," she smiled, shrugging lightly as she looked up towards the pretty girl. "Granny misses you, you know." She started. "She seemed so happy when I was there, her mood had changed so much when you left." She shook her head. "I just feel bad that I left her all alone there."

"Hello?" Grace called out, her head snapping from side to side as she heard rustling in the bushes. "Who’s there?" She shouted out again. Her hair soaking wet, her clothes being the same. All she wanted was to see a person she knew before she had been dropped off in this treacherous place. Grace began shaking, longing for a hug off her father. Something warm, comfortable and familiar.

Jefferson had been picking berries, many of the inhabitants of the island seeming to drop off of the face of it until he heard a small voice call out from damn near the other side of the forest. Something clicked in his mind and made him drop the blueberries and take off running. His heart was pounding but not from the speed, his mind was racing, not from trying to dodge the trees that swept past but from the sheer feeling that deep down he knew who it was. He hid behind a bush, still worried she would hate him, worried that even if he did get to apologize and make everything right somehow deep down she would never forgive him. He had to suck it up. This was his daughter, the most beautiful girl in the world, and she was standing there looking like she needed to go home, and he was the only home around. He took a deep breath, already feeling tears edge the brink of his eyelid he tries to smile when he faces her. "Grace." His voice cracks but he steps forward and her face is so beautiful and it's all to much. "I'm so sorry."

He began to suck on her neck, leaving his mark, little love bites while he pushed his waist as she pushed hers. It felt familiar but it was also unlike anything else he'd ever felt. He wanted so much more, he wanted it to be like this forever. Not exactly the position they were in but the thoughts he had swirling about, that this girl could be there forever, they could have a forever. She was in his arms and she had admitted before that she loved him and that single moment they were sharing in the middle of a forest on an island whose existence is fabled, he wanted to last forever. He wasn't sure how to go about it but the crease of her pants and the feel of her over him was more than enough for him to be almost as hard as a rock. He listened to her breathing, his hands moving to her ass to cup her cheeks. It felt strange to admit that he couldn't control his body because he'd slow down, he'd stop and wait until they were back in Storybrooke where it made sense to share in the grandest form of love, but as he opened his eyes and looked at the glimmer in hers, he realized that there was no better time than the present. "I love you, abundantly."

She parted her lips, pushing herself forward into him. This sudden urge over taking her, stronger than any attraction she had felt before. Her body jumped as he touched her leg, sending the goosebumps away from his hand like ripples in the water. He breathe taken back by the sudden standing against the tree, pushing her self against him as he pushed against her. Her stomach twisting and turning, the butterflies growing in her stomach.

The pressure of her body, the feel of her skin, the taste of her lips as they parted, her breath filling him and finding a home deep inside his heart was pounding in his chest but he couldn't step back away from her, she felt like heaven and tasted like a secret he wanted to unlock. His tongue rolled against hers as his thumbs rubbed small circled on her waist.  He could hear the wind rustle the leaves around them, feel the uneven ground beneath his feet, smell the red delicious apples she managed to bathe in and kissing her, holding her waist, was all he could do to keep it all together. He parts from the kiss, a blush creeping along his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. "It's been forever since I've felt this way." He makes his way down her jawline and to her neck, a trail of wet kisses in his wake. He listened to her breathing, how it was as uneven as his own before looking into her eyes again. "You're the most beautiful soul I've ever met."

Ruby’s eyes widened as he spun her towards him, glad that she didn’t fall over in the process. Her grin grew, almost from ear to ear. “Your words always find away to flatter me” a laugh echoed her voice. She kissed him again, finding it hard to pull herself away from him, clasping her hands behind his head, deepening the kiss.

He felt a small heat to her kiss, passion overtaking him and he licked her lips, asking for her to part them. Her breath was hot on his lips which had him sliding his hands down her legs, thankful for the decent height difference, and lifted her into his arms. Her skin was hot and smooth and it pricked with goose bumps as he gently pushed her against the trunk of a seemingly smooth tree. He pushed his waist against hers and mentally cursed the heat growing in the pit of his stomach.

Ruby grinned. “Such sweet words, from such a sweet man,” she laughed, taking her head off his shoulder. “I’m so used to having sweet nothings whispered in my ear, I’m not sure at how I should take a liking to this side of you” she laughed again. “Dont push it,” she winked, leaning in to kiss him in the cheek, moving straight to his ear. “I love you” she whispered.

He gabbed her by the waist and pulled her close, he didn't know what overcame himself but wherever they were going would probably be just as good as where they stood. Wherever she was, he knew it would be all right, somehow. A smile overtook his lips before he held her cheek and pulled her in for a real kiss. She was sweet and soft. Regina wouldn’t have cast a curse as such, not after her curse was broken" she admitted. "I know Regina’s a bitch, and I understand why you hate her, but you can’t blame this on her. She wouldn’t want to loose Henry again" she shook her head a little. Her breathing deepened for a second as his lip trailed towards her ear, his warm breath sending more chills rushing through her body. "My burden isn’t much of a burden then is it" she laughed. "Well, you never know what one is capable of do you?" She winked, smirking back at him. "Love.love love love love love" she repeated, "it’s a beautiful word that can mean so many different things, yet somehow I think it doesn’t fulfil it’s true meaning" she grinned. "I wonder what she’d say," she started. "If she found out about us. What would she say, how would she react I wonder" she huffed.

His eyes wandered to the trees before he spoke. He didn't want to rub salt in the wounds, but she looked so hopeful. "I did see her. She hired a couple others to help pick up where you left off, but it was very easy to see the weight on her shoulders, grief for not having you there." He sighed, rubbing his thumbs up and down against her skin, his own anchor in the sea of emotions. The feel of her skin under his fingertips was calming, just having r near was a sedative for the demons crawling just below. "I don't know exactly who left, you know those people that were there with no real discernable past? Those people left. Grace though-" He choked back the lump in his throat and swallowed, trying his best to draw a smile across the thin line. "I was holding her hand and the look on her face, she knew what was going to happen." He shakes his forehead gently against hers before taking a deep breath. "I don't blame this time on anyone but myself. I should've done something, anything to stay behind with Grace." He grins and easy grin, looking into her eyes. Her eyes that are the night sky, star collect in her irises and the moon weaves into her hair. "I think she'd be happy we found each other but not happy with who I was. I don't know what she'd said about me, I know I was one of the least liked people in town for what I had to do. She probably didn't think highly of me."
