— ❝It feels pretty good when you make your dreams real, huh?❞ The younger male voiced out, beaming the older a gentle smile from his lips. It was weird, usually he’d feel very awkward with first meetings but he found himself rather comfortable around the other person. It was still awkward-- but not like before.

Jinyoung waved his hand as if dismissing the other, sighing as if the next sentence was hard to admit as he shifted a bit to get more comfortable, letting his lets rest on top of the older male’s thigh, pressing his cheek against the couch’s seat, “I guess… I have to let you go first, after all, I never played this before, but I’m sure I’m a quick learner and I’d be able to beat you after a couple of tries…” He feigned a pompous attitude before snorting lightly, his lips curling into a lazy grin, “’m just joking, I need all the help I can get, please show me how it’s done, hyung~”

— ❝Oh good, now I won’t look at you in disgust while you are playing.❞ He dropped his words casually before grabbing one of the controllers to help himself navigate through the main menu. Pressing a button, the screen then faded into black as Junmo turned his head at Jinyoung, smiling at him with full of excitement. ❝Can’t wait for you to see how a pro plays.❞

“What was in your last meal? Do you blush easily?” 

— Too many questions thrown to Junmo at once, but knowing that the latter being interested with Junmo made him patient enough to answer all of them one by one. It was a weird one though, how it transitioned from meals to his regular blushing. ❝Just some leftover beef from yesterday and some rice, and I don’t know– sometimes people tell me I do but I don’t really notice it by myself.❞

“Do you play an instrument?”

— ❝Hmm, not really.❞ He shook his head casually, lips pressed inside his mouth to form a thin line. ❝My brother gave me his guitar as a but I don’t really use it. I used it as a decoration-- couldn’t say no to him either since he said that he treasures his guitar and he trusts me well enough to give it to me. I’d like to learn how to play the piano though.❞

— He was prepared-- kind of. He thought that he would be finally ready for the rain until the problem of his umbrella getting jammed started to happen. He knew he shouldn’t buy those cheap umbrella from the store near his place but it was the only thing that he could ever afford with his cash. Now, he was standing under a post lamp trying his best not to get wet. But to a sudden change of events-- a good one this time. A girl, who seemed kind-hearted enough, began to held her umbrella on both of them, causing Junmo to give her an embarrassed smile, trying to give her eye-contact but god knew he couldn’t look at her even for a quick second.

— He had forgotten his name, the new guy who just recently moved into the neighborhood. It was an unusual name for a Korean; He knows it but Junmo can’t seem to say it out loud. Jared, was it? One thing’s for sure, is that the guy was kind enough to shield the paler male from getting drenched in the rain by holding up an umbrella on top of his head. And of course-- he was completely surprised. ❝A-ahh, thank you.❞ He quickly responded to his actions, followed by a quick bow. ❝I thought I was going to get badly wet.❞

— It seems like luck wasn’t on his side today as Junmo was already halfway towards his apartment, sudden drops of rainwater began to fall from the sky, causing small marks to appear from his current attire. And sadly for him, he didn’t bring his umbrella since the weather looked fine on his way out. It was crazy of how the weather suddenly changed. Running to a nearest cover, Junmo suddenly stopped as he accidentally bumped himself against another person who seemed in a hurry as well-- at least she was well prepared with her umbrella. Bowing instinctively to ask for her forgiveness, Junmo matched his actions with an apologetic face before speaking out. ❝I’m sorry.❞

she clears her throat before heading off, locking the door behind her once she hits the convenience store. she grabs what she needs (and a banana milk for herself along with some chocolate), heading back in a jiffy. once she reaches her destination, she slips off her shoes to go into the kitchen and prepare the ramyeon for the one who had a headache. once it was done, she poured it into a bowl and brought it over to him with a smile. “here, done.”

— Once Junmo heard the door being slammed close, the male decided it was the best time to take a quick rest until Jane gets back from her trip to the store. He felt bad for making her do all the work that he needed, he needs to make it up to her somehow when he finally gets better. For now, he needs to be dependent on other people due to his health. Minutes-- maybe hours passed and Junmo woke up to see Jane preparing her the food that he wanted, causing him to look at her with groggy eyes as he tried his best to lift himself up from the couch. ❝Never expected you to actually do these things for me.❞ He said with a smile as soon as she brought him his food.

jane looks at the latter for a quick second before checking the time – which wasn’t really necessary. she didn’t have anywhere to go, but maybe it would look better if she did. “it’s alright, i’ll get it. non-spicy.. gotcha. i have nothing to do, anyways.” and with that she took the keys, stretching her limbs out a bit before responding once more. “be back in 5? if you need anything, just text me. i’ll text back right away.”

— She has nothing to do-- a weird sentence coming from someone like her. Wasn’t he the one who’s supposed to say that rather than a girl who has ten times better social life than his? With a faint nod coming from the male, Junmo lied himself on the couch with his arms wrapped tightly around the pillow for comfort. ❝Got it.❞

His tail wagged gently as the other gently rubbed his back, his body completely relaxing against them as the soothing sound of rain filled the room. It had been a while since he had felt so relaxed and every time he had it was usually with Junmo.

— It has been a short while, two hours to be more specific and Junmo suddenly woke up from his short nap, and seeing Aiden sleeping soundly near him caused him to stay in the same position for a while, staring at the latter’s features for a long while. Admiration was all Junmo could give as he kept looking at the sleeping male.

It wasn’t that Jisoo hated the woman: There was quite big drift in regards to emotions when it came to the neighbours of her recently gained acquaintance. The fact that Junmo used the word ‘friend’ when it came to Jisoo made her look at the boy in surprise, the brows then neatly moving to form an expression of confusion. The two did share familiar experience of moving to Seoul, of living their old lives behind, but Jisoo didn’t consider him very close or someone she could actually call a ‘friend’. What is a friend, anyway? There are just people you enjoy being with and people you don’t. The girl made her mind zoom back onto the accident. “That woman was scanning you as if you were her next pray for god knows what… She has a twisted mind, trust me.” With that said Jisoo went into Junmo’s apartment and started taking off her shoes, the case of her violin safely leaned against the wall during the process of her neatly placing the kitten heels near Junmo’s sneakers.

“Could you bring me another cup of orange juice? I’m still very thirsty.”

— ❝And people call me weird.❞ Cue an eyeroll coming from the pale-skinned male, followed by an annoyed grown upon hearing the female’s assumption. Surely his neighbour didn’t see Junmo in that way. She seemed so nice whenever they ran against each other, but there was a bit of paranoia on how Junmo sees her now after that. And now-- she’s back to being bossy like her usual self. Junmo was now having second thoughts if he should actually follow her orders just because she was his guest. ❝Wow, no-- after wasting a cup, I’m sure to not give you another one. You know what would happen if a tenant filed a complaint against me?❞

“ahhh.. i guess if that’s how it is.” a sigh lets out, hoping that the latter would get better so that his head would stop throbbing. “sucks having a headache but, you want some ramyeon? i’ll make you some. there’s a nearby convenience store that sells them, i’ll cook it for you..if you want though? since you said that’s what you needed. get some more rest, maybe?”

— Well-- his initial idea was too make Jane leave out of his room to spend alone but hearing her made up an even better idea for him sent him in his own thoughts, thinking that it would be better for him to let Jane do all the work for him. An asshole move but it will do for now, and it seems like Jane would like to help him just as much as he would help himself. ❝Yeah, make sure you buy the non-spicy beef one. Spicy things make me nauseous.❞
