Hey @taylorswift…I don’t know if you remember this, but once upon a time in Austin, TX, there was a brand new 16 year old artist who was playing at a dive bar (you), and a 16 year old high school student who was too young to get into said dive bar to come see you play (me), but called the radio station you were interviewing at, just to see how old you had to be to get in. They gave me a hard time about not having a fake ID (who has a fake ID in high school?! Plus, I was a good kid), but, before I hung up, they said you wanted to talk to me. I was a little taken aback, but we chatted for about ten minutes, got along really well, and you said you didn’t want to be the old 16 year old there, so to give you my mom’s cell phone number and you were going to have your manager call her and sneak us both in through the artist’s entrance so that we could hang out and that my mom could hang out with your mom. I thought, “Yeah, okay, sure.” but I gave you my mom’s phone number anyway. Fast forward to third period, and I get a pretty surprised text from my mom saying that she got a call from your tour manager and that I needed to go home and change after school because we were going to see you play! Now listen, I have NO idea if you remember this, because it was obviously a decade ago, but we did pinky-promise to be phone friends for life. I know that was the “old Taylor” and she’s having trouble coming to the phone right now, but, if the old Taylor sees this, my sister, Chelsey, and I are going to be at your Houston show and I really honestly would LOVE nothing more than to recreate this photo from our little 16 year old selves. Let me know. Old Paige still answers the phone. And Tumblr. Which I pretty much created to be able to get this post through to you! @taylornation
