watching suzuka whatever i don't give a fuck about the p3 wc game let's focus on the sport i actually care about.

nico is on pole whatever. it apparently has been raining the entire weekend, and i can't see if it's raining here or if they're just talking about it. no it doesn't look like it. anyway max with another grid penalty what is new, apparently for parking in a dangerous place this time.

ron dennis talking about his team's current situation while they show lewis putting on his gloves. cinematic. apparently contract disputations regarding whether jenson and alonso are staying. speculations abound apparently. brundle is saying the last mclaren contract he saw, lewis', had well over 100 pages, and all kinds of options. that honestly doesn't even seem like too many, but i know brundle doesn't read so. nico apparently got shoulder and neck massages before the race and took some paracetamol (?) i don't know why crofty knows all this.

alonso on the radio talking about being 'embarrassed' by the car i assume, was overtaken by sainz. well. he knew mclaren was cooked when he went there, he was supposedly joining them to help them get back up. being on the radio to complain about how poor the car is doing doesn't help anyone.

really trying to pay attention to this race and ignore that france is down 4-0 haha

why does nico get pit priority? i guess because he was losing time to bottas, who pitted first and did remain ahead. lewis is going to pit now. he had plenty of time, comes out ahead of seb anyway. with a huge gap still.

glazing max for passing alonso... in that tractor. congrats for that i guess. especially congrats for not crashing. the toro rosso is much better than the mclaren so i don't know what took him so long.

alonso is having a crash out on the radio "gp2 engine! gp2 engine" and well, this is honda's home race. brundle is saying that he's driving like he wants to get fired. i don't have patience for guys like alonso and max who start cursing out everyone in the team when they don't have the car. neither of them would have survived 2009, much less had the fortitude to turn it around like lewis ended up doing.

anyway lewis complaining of vibrations, however he's 13 secs clear, so I think he'll probably live. far weirder is nico's gap to seb what on earth is going on there.

ok i was simply not playing enough attention to this race because of the france vs england game. i guess it could have been worse, i guess mbappé most goals olise most assists is something.

anyway lewis wins super comfortably, patting the car while still driving it cutes. it's his first suzuka win. this track never quite agreed with him. for contrast seb has 4 wins here.

he won't stop caressing car 👀carfucker allegations queen? i always thought he wasn't one of them. but i'm seeing things differently now. this season in particular he has been all over the car.
