Happy Thanksgiving. What can I say. It's been a year, for sure. But I don't EVER take my blessings for granted. At work doing what I do best, as I try to get better (like that one ;-) ) I'm so grateful that my immediate family agreed to have our dinner early since I had to work. We each contributed, cooked, served, and laid out a spectacular menu. We each said what we were grateful for, after saying a prayer giving THANKS to our Lord for our health, our lives, our family and opportunities. I pray and keep close to my heart all those who have lost a loved one, and have had a hard time dealing with this pandemic. It hasn't been easy. It's been isolating, and depressing at times. But knowing that this too shall pass keeps me going. Also having my journalism and church family to lean on is a Blessing. Stay strong. Reach out if you need to talk or share a good word.
