Elisewin’s character design from my project “The Lighthouse & The Whaler” The final design for Elisewin was very challenging, because of her particular eye and overall face shape. There were so many times where I put her eyes a little too close, or made her cheecks a little too puffy and suddenly she wasn’t recognizable anymore.

I wanted her to somehow resemble the surroundings of the lighthouse, so I imagined her hair being very soft and almost weightless, white as a cloud. Her eyes have a subtle lillac tone, but are overall pretty dark.
