Just in time for the holiday season, and Sebastian finally saw the post about the final total that you guys raised on his behalf for the #iwannahelpsomeone fundraiser. You guys are the best, and Sebastian is clearly thrilled. :)
So, it’s been a while (Thanks, JustGiving, for taking this long to actually send us the money!) but the donation has been made now.
We raised over $5000 in the end but, between JustGiving’s fees of nearly 8%, exchange rates and PayPal fees, we managed to donate a nice, tidy $4600 to UNITAS when rounded up.
Once again, thank you so much for all of your generous donations and support - you guys are the absolute best. One of the organisers of #IWannaHelpSomeone is meeting Sebastian in January at the convention so even if he doesn[’t see this on Instagram, he will hear in person of the amazing job you guys have done for him. You’re amazing! Thank you all, so very much for your generosity!

That’s an incredible $24 per donation, on average (though a few of you were FAR beyond generous in your donations) - and $170 a day!
We started with nothing and over time continued to meet and pass every single goal we met. Our final total just goes to show what we can accomplish if we all come together for a cause that matters. This fandom is just incredible and I am so damn proud of us. Thank you a hundred times over for those people that have supported this project every step of the way. Thank you to those who donated, and thank you to those who spread the word and helped make this possible. And Finally, thank you to those people who helped out behind the scenes; this project could not have been possible without you.
And to Sebastian - I hope this proves to you how much your fandom loves you and admired what an amazing person you are. You continue to amaze us every day with everything that you do, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I hope this has brought a smile to your face and made your day. I know it’s made mine.
We’re still waiting for the last few days’ payments to process through Just Giving. Once those are done, we will make the donation as soon as well can to UNITAS - this will take 2-3 weeks (because JustGiving are slow!). As soon as it’s done, though, we will let you know!

LESS THAN 24 HOURS TO GO!
We have less than 24 hours left in our month-long fundraiser to raise money for UNITAS, to help fulfil Sebastian Stan’s desire to help other people. When we started this, we never imagined that we would raise this much money. Our first goal of $1500 seemed like a high bar - and instead, you guys smashed through that target in a few days. Since then, you haven’t stopped. I know I speak for all of us involved when I say that the way the fandom has come together for this has made me so proud - we could have done this without you!
Let’s see how far we can push this now, in the last few hours left - let’s keep going and show Sebastian how much he means to us by giving back a bit of the help and support that he gives us!

Following our last giveaway as a thank you to everyone who has donated to our fundraising efforts for UNITAS on behalf of Sebastian Stan, we are now giving away ANOTHER set of four (4) 2 x 3 miniature watercolours of Sebastian and Bucky, generously created by @mintmintdoodles especially for #Iwannahelpsomeone, along with these Marvel figures!
#Iwannahelpsomeone was created after Sebastian Stan wrote on a mural wall that “I wanna help someone”. This touched the hearts of hundreds of fans, as he continuously helps people with his charity work, his presence on social media and his interactions with his many fans. The fundraiser was set up to help fulfil his wish.
The money raised is being given to UNITAS, a nonprofit organisation working to end human trafficking and support the victims. Sebastian has supported them and regularly attends their charity galas.
The giveaway is open to anyone who has donated or donates before the end of the giveaway period. In order to be entered into the random draw for one set of four watercolours, please ensure you follow the rules below.
Please note - this is NOT THE SAME GIVEAWAY as our first one. If you entered that one, you won’t automatically be entered for this one unless you reshare this post too.
