Honestly I hope Armand and Daniel go crazy style on folks the way Armand does in the books. I want skinning, beheading, scalping, brainwashing, and other weird shit. I want Armand to pick off someone’s fingernails and put them in a blender.

All I’m saying is there better be a REALLY GOOD FUCKING REASON why they made vampires able to urinate. Because so far all I’m seeing are a few piss jokes. Why did we devote so much time to piss? We could have given that time to the flashbacks.

I think Armand lost his humanity during the Riccardo incident in the coven. Not to say he became inhuman, but I think he gave up his humanity once he realized what his vampire body did. I think it was so deeply traumatic that he switched over to “evil vampire.”

Because what else could he be?

Why the fuck are we also including the witches (merrick?) into this season? Why can’t we just sit and absorb and examine something that happened in the past? Why are we introducing a whole ass universe when we haven’t even seen why Lestat pursued Marius?

Idk who is talking to me re: failures. Do I care? Is this objective? It’s not clever to have your audience distrust every single story beat and bit of dialogue.

We’ve completely dissolved Lestat and Armand’s relationship. I guess it’s just a joke about how the brown man is ugly and also a slut and also bad in bed and also a liar. Oh and also he’s a whore. Isn’t that so funny?

We abandoned Lestat searching for Marius. I guess his mom wanted to find him. He’s just along for the ride.

Don’t hit me with “oh he’s an unreliable narrator” when nobody is challenging him given the conceit of the first two seasons. Why did we set up a framing device then completely disregard it.
