Little Bird { tristeroi }
Larkspur gardens was a large garden filled with flowers of all kinds. For a girl who usually stayed indoors alone with only her own company, spending time at a place like this seemed a bit out of character. The petite raven haired girl sat beneath a tree, with a notepad and pen in hand. Grey eyes scanned the area surrounding her, jotting down a few notes every so often. It had been a while since Haruka wrote. It was peaceful. A time to reflect on everything that had recently happened in her life. The words that poured on the page sounded nothing like what people saw looking at her. The thoughts she would never share with anyone aside from a close friend.
Sitting here made the petite feel as though she were the only person in the entire world. The towering flowers reminded her of a friend. The girl placed the notebook and pen on the ground and walked over to the flowers that towered above her head. Without having realized it, Haruka began speaking to the flowers as if they were her friend, Tatsuki. While speaking to the flowers, the girls eyes looked sad. Haruka told the flowers about her day, and how things were going.
Haruka stood by the flowers talking to herself for a while. She asked the flowers questions and never received an answer. “You know, the only reason I came here was because I thought you would have wanted me to take a chance.” She said to herself. Deep in thought Haruka hadn’t noticed someone else came to the almost secret garden. The last thing Haruka wanted was for anyone to overhear these feelings. She felt weak. Talking to a field of flowers as though they were her recently deceased friend. To anyone else, surely it was pathetic.
