Jenna Coleman Confirms Return to DOCTOR WHO

Good news for DOCTOR WHOfans: The Doctor's assistant is not going anywhere.

DOCTOR WHO star Jenna Coleman has confirmed to BBC that she will return to the show to reprise her role as Clara Oswald in the next season of the show

Recently, there had been speculation that Coleman would depart the show following its Christmas special which just aired.

Having been on the show ever since 2012, Coleman has starred opposite both former Doctor, Matt Smith, and current Doctor, Peter Capaldi.

She sees her time on the show as essential to the character relationships.

"There is so much more to do," Coleman told the BBC. "I think they've finally just reached a point where they really understand each other.

"The arrival of the 12th Doctor has just kind of dropped this whole bombshell and allowed the dynamic to totally change, so I think just when Clara was feeling more comfortable in the relationship, it has suddenly thrown something new up."

Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman reunite in the latest trailer in which the Doctor is sprinkled with snow in the North Pole before encountering Nick Frost as Father Christmas himself. 

"What seems to be the problem," asks Santa, before we catch a glimpse of the words "you are dying" on a blackboard. Elves, slimy monsters and fiery explosions also appear in the 35-second new trailer. Take a look below...
