He smiled at her and nodded. “Sure, if you’re up for it.” He said as he moved some lights through some holes to try to detangle them. “I’d never say no for some company.” Rion wasn’t the type to do so. He would gladly spend time with almost anyone and it just helped him not be so lonely these days like he had been. He moved the last of the lights through a hole and grinned. “There we go. These ones are done.” He said and started wrapping them carefully so they wouldn’t get tangled again.

“What if it was someone you really hated?” Scarlet asked just to ask, but she knew what her answer would be. She took the wrapped and detangled string of lights from him and tacked them on top of the ones she finished before she placed them in a box to store for later use. They were done and she was thankful that two sets of hands made it faster. “Thank, Ri.” She was not enough of a friend to slap a nickname into the sentence, but she still did it like she did a lot of thing. Scarlet stood up and dusted the concrete grim off the back of her elf wardrobe. “Let’s change and go.” It wasn’t a question, but they had already agreed to go.
