Tomorrow I'm going to start reading the final Rascal Does Not Dream volume.

It feels surreal to see one of my favourite things to end. I think i'm not ready

I just finished the first chapter and i really liked it!

Never thought to take the title of Turn the World Upside Down literally, but that made the song really beautiful.

Furthermore, it was surprising to see that the Touko Kirishima is Mai Sakurajima thing resolved in the first chapter. I'm very happy that Mai is the best girl of all time (I love you so much❤️❤️❤️) and was understanding.

However, i'm concerned about if the other re-written realities are also undone because, although they're not the "real" realities, I like it better this way.

Man the first half of the second chapter was great and the later half was scaring me.

First of all, i really enjoyed the moments between Miori and Sakuta. Their conversations and the stuff they do together almost always puts a smile on my face.

And that's the thing that i fear: I'm scared that Sakuta isn't allowed to meet Miori ever again. Or even worse, that Sakuta just vanishes.

But I'm even more terrified that, if Sakuta would stop believing that Adolescence Syndrome is real, everything would change. Shouko not getting a heart transplant, Miori not coming to terms with Toukos death and never getting together with Mai.

However, i also get it what the other Sakuta meant and what Sakuta kind of realised.

I just hope everything goes well...

In other news, i was somewhat on point with my half-finished assumption: Happy Birthday Sakuta, but how's it going to end? Will you stop believing? Is everything going to be fine?

And i think this might be one of the best chapters of the series.

I thought i'd be crying in this chapter, but it was the opposite. I was enjoying the fond memories that they've showed me. The bunny library, the uni, enoshima, etc. they were all good memories. Not only what happened in the story, but also what kinds of memories i relate them too.

The Goodbye to Miori was not sad, but bittersweet. Everything, despite knowing that it ends, had a nice feeling to it.

Even more, the illustration on the last page of the chapter was the greatest feeling of them all.

It has been almost 2 books since we had one and that made me really happy!

So this is what growing up feels like...

I'm absolutely positive that i'm going to cry either during or after reading the final chapter.

Life goes on and this last chapter shows us that.

I really thought this last book is going to be a tear-jerker, but in reality it made me see the nice memories that i've made by reading this series. One of my favourite moments was when i've read Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus whilst sitting in a cafe in a city i've never been before.

I've felt many different things: Happiness, Sadness, Shock, Headaches, Worries, Warmth and the list keeps on going. I've truly enjoyed every page of every book. Especially the descriptions of how Sakuta got from point A to point B because they made it feel even more real.

It also give me the need to write for myself, although it might take a while until i'll actually do that haha.

Still, reading the last volume showed me why i fell in love with this series once again and why it's my favourite series of all time, alongside JoJos bizarre adventure, so thank you Hajime Kamoshida for writing this incredible series and i'm looking forward to your next one.
