I love Hilda, She’s one of my favorite characters from Cuphead and I want to share my Headcanon about her (and Mugman) with y’all:

Hilda Berg was (and still is) a pilot who got recognition for being one of the first female pilots and for her guidance habilities  (this is because of her astral magic). She one day decided to stay on one of the islands of Inkwell to inaugurate a Planetarium.

Hilda is Mugman’s idol since he was just 5 years old, and he wanted to welcome her with a gift. Sadly, on that time, he was too shy to talk with her. But now you can imagine how he felt when he had to beat her to get the contract for the Devil…….and after that when they both became good and close friends.
