He’s sleeping too. It’s hard for either of you to try to see each other before bed. His kingly and Black Panther duties run extremely late, and you’re usually fast asleep when he finally comes to bed. It’s times where you actually make it through the late night and see him off to bed, but he’s so exhausted that all he has enough energy for is to give you a quick kiss on the lips, following a “Goodnight my Queen”. It’s distressing to know that you can’t enjoy a quality night with your husband, but luckily Bast has blessed him with a “day off”, so to speak. Tonight was the first time in months you two had a long, peaceful evening with each other. The night starts off with pillow talk. Your head lays on his bare chest while his arm is around your waist. You two speak on just about anything that came to the mind until you two eventually drifted off to sleep. A tiny smile forms on both of y'all’s lips because you're in each other’s arms and dreams.

Erik

He is fixing you breakfast. Erik? Fixing breakfast? I know right, it shocked you too when you found out, but his attempt to do something nice for you was sweet. Now, Erik isn’t the type to show off his affection. He would rather show you how much he loved you in the bedroom, but he decided to switch it up for once and show his appreciation in other ways. So he decided to make you breakfast in bed. He struggled to make you something edible as he flipped through the cookbook, trying to find a simpler meal. After forty-five minutes of failure, he mustered up the courage to ask one of the royal chefs to help him prepare the meal. And by helping him, he means to make it for him, while he takes all the credit. After watching the chef cook for twenty minutes, he collected the breakfast, picked out a few flowers from the garden, and carried it to y'all’s shared bedroom. The sound of Erik singing “wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up” and the smell of food woke you up from your slumber. The sight of your boyfriend bringing you breakfast with flowers made you smile. And even though you knew he didn’t produce the meal (because you requested the same breakfast before to the royal chefs) you still loved the fact that he thought of you. All he wanted to do was prove that he can take care of you and treat you right.

He is watching you. He stares, gratefully at your sleeping face because you have lit up his life like no one else could. You were the epitome of a strong woman that every strong man needed. You always managed to provide him with exactly what he needs: a shoulder to cry on, a reason to hold on, selfless encouragement, unconditional love and support, and so much more. You are the love of his life. A second without you was a second wasted. He didn’t want a day to go by without seeing his beautiful wife’s face. It was hard for him to see you during the day because he was so busy, but when it was night time and you were cuddled up right next to him, you are all his. He couldn’t help but lay beside you and marvel.
