Suitcases and Goodbye || Kat & Jac {Chatzy}
Jac: Jacqueline had to tell Bernard twice she didn't need any help with Kat's bag before walking into the Hospital. It wasn't too heavy since she really did pack light for her roommate given, she thought, she would most probably be wearing swim suits most of the time during her stay in Mexico. Jac waved at some of the nurses as we walked past them, making small talk with others before reaching Kat's door. Knocking lightly on it before entering the room, Jac left the suitcase by the door as she walked to kiss her friend's cheeks twice, an european manner she had still not been able to let go. "You look better, Kat!" She acknowledged out loud. She did. At least since the first time Jac came to visit.1:28
Kat: Katherine heard a little peppy knock on the side of her door and she slipped out of the small restroom, smiling slightly and allowed the girl to kiss her cheeks and she nodded. "Well thank you..." It was hard to hide the fact that she was excited for this trip to Mexico. Mostly because, of course, she'd be able to spend some time with Dean alone for a little while. But also because it was a country that she had never been to. She was excited to be in the warm sun again. She was scared to wear a swimsuit though. The hospital had been trying to 'fatten her up' so that she could get out sooner and she kept feeling as if she was a whale, soon enough in Mexico she'd literally be a beached whale. She turned slightly to the side and held her hands against her prominant ribcage and sighed lightly, she wasn't as skinny as she used to be and it sucked. "So, what did you pack me?" she laughed as she picked up the bag with a struggle, even though it was light she was still a little weak from being so malnurished.1:37
Jac: Jacqueline sat by the end of the bed, shaking her head at Katherine, immediately stretching a hand to help her with the bag as the girl tried to pick it up. "Oh nothing too fancy. I think I got you three different swimming suits, including the one piece you've been using for training just in case." Jac nodded, smiling. "A few shorts and camis, button ups, cotton dresses and flats. It's Mexico!" She was just a tad too excited for her friend, mostly because she loved the idea of going anywhere warm right now. Paris wasn't exactly warm this time of the year so her trip included tons of scarfs, tights and gloves. "So, Dean huh?" She smiled, not taking her eyes away from Kat so she wouldn't miss any reaction.1:43
Kat: Katherine nodded suddenly feeling a little self conscious. "Wow.. that's a lot of swimsuits.. I'll probably wear that one piece a lot more than the others. I'm not good enough for a bikini." she nodded and then smiled. "You're a saint you know that?" she smiled brightly and gave Jacqueline a gentle hug. "You're right, it its Mexico. I've never been there before and I'm going to bring my camera and go all tourist. It'll be great to get out of the city and away from Tyler and stuff." she looked at her face in the mirror, thankfully her black eye was concealed by her make up. "Yeah, Dean is coming. I don't know if he even wants to. I kind of felt bad though for just taking this trip without inviting him at all, since I ruined his vacation to Africa with his sister because of my episode." she shrugged and sighed slightly. "But he is going and he seems kind of happy about it so who knows right?" she smiled slightly.1:47
Jac: Jacqueline didn't understand what Kat meant when she said she wasn't good enough for a bikini, the girl was practically skin and bones! She only shook her head, amused, as always, and listened. "I think Dean wouldn't be going if he didn't want to." Jac offered her two dimes on the topic, shrugging. "He wouldn't willingly join you, skip the holidays, if he didn't want to spend the time with you, Kat." Jacqueline's voice was soft and caring, she wasn't trying to make a point, she only wanted her friend to open her eyes to what she had in front of her but she also knew Kat would need much more than just words. She needed time. "So, when are you coming back?" She asked, curious. Jac herself wasn't sure when she'd be coming back as Alex was supposed to meet her in Paris at some point and then she wasn't sure what or where they'd go.1:55
Kat: Katherine shook her head lightly "I don't even know, he's done crazier things Jacqueline." she smiled and then sat down on the uncomfortable bed. "I don't even know, I think we're only going to be there for a week, which doesn't even sound like enough time to enjoy the country and stuff but I don't know. I hope it'll go well. I'm ready to just hike out of the city at this point. I just kind of want to be out of here and enjoying another place for even a few days. That's always good enough for me. Just away from all the bullshit and drama that people keep causing, just me, my camera, the beach and- Well you get the picture." she smiled at the French beauty sitting beside her.2:00
Jac: "And Dean." Jacqueline finished Kat's train of thought, smirking bashfully. Letting out a soft breath, Jac hunched her shoulders apologetically. "It hasn't been a great year, has it?" The girl reminisced on some of this year's events and had to hide a shudder before smiling again. "But it's ending in a lighter tone, don't you think?"2:04
Kat: Katherine nodded and felt her cheeks warm up a little. "Yes, and Dean..." she bit her lower lip as she thought about how awful this year had been for her. Her smile quickly fading as she looked down at her hands. "Yes... it has been quite an awful year. Seriously fucked up if you asked me. I mean I wish I could just go back and erase this whole year and maybe start over. I would change a lot of things." she nodded and then smiled slightly. "I guess you're right. Things are starting to look up. I mean with you and Alex going on that trip and Sebastian finding someone..." she paused and rolled her eyes, biting her tongue from what she wanted to say, she wasn't going to drag Jacqueline into that. "Dean and I going to Mexico together. I think that this year is coming to a decent close." she smiled brightly.2:11
Jac: Jac nodded. It had truly been 'fucked up', somewhat of a nightmare, but even nightmares must end and then you wake up and realize it was only but a dream. "Well, we can't really erase 2012 and start over, but we have 2013 to make up for everything we missed in 2012." Jacqueline took her friend's hands in hers, smiling brightly. "And you want to know something? It won't be perfect, but it will be better than 2013. Of that I'm sure."2:22
Kat: Katherine giggled lightly and nodded, holding her friends hand as tight as she could. "It will be better, you know why? Because I've met some pretty amazing people in the end of this year and for some reason I don't think they're going anywhere any time soon. No matter how stubborn and pigheaded I can be." she smiled brightly, a smile that kind of went from ear to ear. In the past few months, Jacqueline had become practically her sister. When Autumn and her got in their fight her and Jacqueline became close and that wouldn't change. She rested her head on Jacqueline's shoulder. "Just promise me you won't go and kiss my boyfriend or my ex boyfriend or someone I've had a crush on okay? Then I know we'll never fight." she laughed slightly.2:25
Jac: Katherine took Jacqueline by surprise with her words. It wasn't likely for the girl to show so much affection but Jac didn't say anything, appreciating the moment and knowing she was a very lucky person to witness this side of Kat, a side the girl rarely showed anyone. "Well, I always wanted a sister, so I'm glad you called asking for lodging." She smiled, chuckling silently. "I don't think Alex's one of your exes, is he? And hopefully he's not your boyfriend either so I believe we're good then."2:34
Kat: Katherine nodded a few times. "I think we're on good terms for now. Don't worry I'll run you off eventually but for now this is nice." she smiled brightly. "Happy New Year Jacqueline..." she nodded a few times. "Happy... Happy New Year." she smiled brightly.
