jaceiswright: hide yo kids and hide yo wife
following in suit: things might not of ended well here but it was some of the best RP years of my life and even if it went out badly - hey, at least it went out with a bang! I hope you're all good, well and healthy. Thanks for being part of a great experience. You were all talented writers and kind people for the most part of my time here :)
a future so bright it could blind you // alaska & ?
The sun sat low in the sky yet those who swayed beneath it had HIGH spirits, and though the day was almost at its end the night was still very much young. A beach crowded with tuxedos & gowns, laughter & light, so very different to what the air had been filled with all those times before when this group had last been all together ( especially at a parties like this one ). One would never think it true that so many STORMS had raged and fought beneath all those lit up faces, clinking their glasses, dancing beneath the mood. And how strange it was to know, looking at them now - stronger, healthier, happier, than she had ever known them to be - that they had all once been made so weak that the lightening had came so close to striking them d o w n, the rain so nearly drowning them. Yet here they stood. GONE was the looming threats of two sisters, the disaster round every corner, the heart break waiting within the shadows. The only thing left of what they had once knew, what they had all lived through, was their strength. their bond. their family.
FAMILY. there was so much more family now. Upon the sand, so many kids played, so many little versions of them all running around. And among them was a WOMAN dressed in all white, with a light so bright within her eyes that not even the darkest depths of the ocean beside her could not be touched by it - a light she had been so certain was gone for good. Hands wrapped around a little blonde girl as they ran, who was not so little any more, and it pulled them both to a halt & down, bodies connecting with sand, giggles filling the air the way it had always done so many years ago when the blonde was but a toddler. After a few minutes or so of more laughter, of secret words and jokes whispered between the two, and a parting kiss on the cheek from Lacey, the pair were soon up, Lacey running to catch up with her new friends, passing her mother one last backward glance with a wide grin and a blown kiss as she did so; and Alaska hoisting her dress up slightly and rejoining the rest of her wedding party scattered beneath the fairy lights on the deck with a grin of her own as she thought about how far she had come. “I’m goddamn fucking married,” she murmured to herself as she took a sip of her wine, and it was if it had only just hit her - or maybe it was the alcohol. Alaska had become very much a lightweight since she had pretty much stopped drinking. “I’m married,” she said again, a little louder, a little prouder, “holy shit I’m married, I’m actually fucking married. I’m married!” At this point the blushing bride was practically screaming, excitement bursting out of her like a kid on christmas morning as he grabbed the nearest person, practically bouncing on them, “I’m married!”
(also this be what alaska’s wedding dress looks like incase u r wondering)
There was something about the night that was sobering for Jace as he stood, glass in hand and a smile on his face, one touched with a hint of sadness and yet relief. He had been quiet. People had asked him questions about his life and he had stood with his shirt buttoned up to his neck, making sure he did not breathe the wrong answer, a tie a little too tight to constrict him enough not to make any “funny” speeches about unsuspecting victims. Sand was trodden beneath the soles of shoes that were much too shiny and his smile was growing more and more crooked as the night set in, the sun disappearing but his joy still present. A young man he may have been but in the dimming light, wisps of grey were visible, threaded through the youthful blonde he had always been. Age had done nothing to him besides dimmed his boyish smile, still, sloppy it lay on his lips. His fingers twisted the cap of a bottle beside him, memories flooding back as they always had in situations such as this of the days when he had been engulfed in a sweet dream tainted by the slight of a nightmare. Things dotted together over his memory and his sleeve hitched slightly to reveal fading and old scars from a life he had once lived. A life that he would not change for everything. From the corner of his eye he saw the most beautiful girl he had ever known. Not Alaska Scott, not the bride, his daughter, the one perfect thing that he could say he had a hand in creating. He did not look up, instead his smile corrected itself.
He heard her then. Sometimes it seemed that Alaska Scott and Jace Wright had been two ships sailing on the same ocean in a completely horizontal intersection, they had gently brushed against each other but would never actually meet. In a way, he felt as though he had waited an entire lifetime to see Alaska and Hunter get married, to see her finally live out her dream as he had his. Always, in his heart, lingered a beat that was just for her but it had long since registered that the love they shared would never stand a chance in the world they had created for themselves. He was happy, he was so fucking happy compared to the troubled boy he had been when he first met her. In every inch of her he saw a new light. She had lived. Not just that, she was l i v i n g. There was a deep joy that came to him as he heard her screaming, cursing, being the teenager that he remembered after the few years that had passed, but he barely allowed his face to change, twisting the cap, “I know, I can’t believe it, I didn’t think anyone would ever have the guts to marry you, you’re kind of a bitch,” now he couldn’t resist the grin that pulled at his lips, a short chuckle spilling out onto the hot air, eyes sparkling, electric blue still alive from the boy that he used to be. His hand finally reached up to join hers, his eyebrow raising as his left hand touched hers, rings almost brushing together and causing friction, “I’m married too,” he winked, another chuckle quickly escaping his lips, “Not to you, thank God,” he pointed out as if she would be disappointed, feigning relief as he wiped imaginary (and possibly real) sweat from his forehead. “Look,” his face was serious, his eyes on hers, “I don’t want to be rude... But you know I only came for the cake right? Duty called.”

I took everyone’s advice and tried “low key” and “not lunacy” this year. Happy Valentines day @izzyclay. I love you almost as much as you love chocolate. I promise there’s no surprise icecream serving bears, as much as I kinda hoped that would be my return gift.

Who is your best friend?
That’s too hard. Everyone knows I love almost everyone. Can’t have a guy choosing like that.
Who do you love most in this world?(not including your kids)
Harry Kingston, forever. I’m his number one fan. I hope he’s not still crying in his ferrari.
what do you love the most about your wife?
Always the booty.
I thought Jizzy ended up together and had babies? Why is Jaddie having babies too?
Jace and Adalina had a fling for a short period after Izzy left him and decided to go home. While they weren’t together, Jace liaised with a couple of other people and found out on the last day of the Exchange that Adalina was pregnant. He didn’t get back together with Izzy for quite a while after that but left her a note saying that he’d see her sometime when they were both back in England. Jace, as he would of done for Alaska, supported Adalina through her pregnancy while she was seeing Brad and ended up being the one at the birth to welcome his beautiful son into the world!

@LinaRusso Meet the little prince, Niccoli Francis Wright. He’s a stubborn little guy and held on for an extra two days, but he’s finally here and even more tiny and perfect than I imagined. Ti amo così tanto che ti darei la luna, vita mia.
why did you call him Cakesy?
Izzy first called him Cakesy for his adoration for cake. Jace loved cake, it could cure anything. #universaltruth
if you could write a letter to present time Jace, what would it say?
Dear Jace Wright,
I love you so much. You have no idea, you couldn’t, because you’re not real, but know this, I love you. I love you with every inch and fiber of who I am, because if there is one character that always had my heart, it was you. Every single part of your journey meant a hundred times more to me than you could ever know, modern day Jace, Jace who’s living his life, who is a Father and a husband sort of and just a man, a really strong and strange man that has been through a lot, every part of you is a little part of me, every choice you made was the right one. Had I been in your shoes, I would of done the exact same. Sometimes when I need to think about things, I wonder what it would be like to be you.
Hey, Jace, there were dark and sad times in my life when I would wish I could lead your life because the strength of my feeling for everything you went through was so compelling that I could of written you for the rest of my life. Until the day I died. You were the bravest, strongest, funniest person that I have ever had the pleasure of sort of knowing and if you were real then I can guarantee that my love for you would be even more ferocious than it is now, which is slightly terrifying.
Every part of your journey was a part of mine. You tried your best, I know that. I know that everything you did was what you thought was for the best and every secret that you kept was to protect the people you loved. If you taught me one thing in life then it was that giving people your love, your loyalty, your time, will always be worth it, even if it gets thrown back in your face. You taught me that the odds do not matter, you do not know the outcome unless you tried. Never turn your back on a friend, like you never turned your back on Hunter. You had a lot more patience than me and your friends were a lot harder to control than me but the greatness of your spirit and the kindness of your heart are qualities that make me envious, much more giving than I could ever dream of being.
I miss you Jace, I truly do, but a little part of you will always be a little part of me. You changed the person I was, from being a sixteen year old who stumbled upon you and made you a random cracker to being a ninteen year old who knew you inside and out and adored every part of the darkness, there was so much of you that was really just a part of me and for that I will always remember you.
You are memorable Jace, and you are strong, and you are absolutely one of a kind. There are millions of people who can be forgotten in a lifetime, that can merge into someone else, who can be compared, contrasted and mixed together to create a new character or qualities that you can spot in people you see every day but I have never met someone like you and I never will. I don’t think that another you exists. That one will ever be written or made or seen, because you are just you. One of a kind. The most special label of all and the most true. You were just different, and you always will be. Never change, Jace, you’re perfect.
Love,
Elicia (Your greatest admirer).
What have you been up to ever since returning home?
Oh, ya know, keeping out of trouble. I’m not at liberty to say.
