oh gosh, dadbod!Jack Zimmermann is like the ideal future version of Jack, isn't it? a Jack who is comfortable enough to have a second slice of pie and joke about his dad bod? Bitty won't be able to keep his hands off him.

Jack is also the one who gets super invested in the PTA once he retires. Like, he’s there coordinating fundraisers for the booster clubs (he always wins the bake sales because he brings Bitty’s creations). He’s not coaching his kids’ teams specifically but he is coaching peewees and helps coordinate the veritable army of parent-volunteers that make any youth club run semi-smoothly. He’s got SUCH a weakness for the local-rink french vanilla ‘cappuccinos’ and has his favorites ranked by rink. They’ve got the fluffiest husky who does nothing but talk back but Bitty likes to run him and after all the aches that finally convinced Jack to retire, he happily leaves Bits that chore. Instagram adores the pics of Jack and their husky curled up with the same expressions. (This dog weighs almost a hundred pounds but thinks he’s a lap dog.) Their family is just *that golden yellow and blue light of Happiness*

This is pretty much my headcanon for future!Zimbits. I think I’ve mentioned before that I ended up being a PTA officer for THREE YEARS because the hot dad PTA president gazed deep into my soul with his ice blue eyes and asked if he could count on me. (He probably just wanted me to donate money, but I went all in.)

But yes, give me soft, retired Jack Zimmermann who isn’t “Stanley Cup Champion Jack Zimmermann” but “Alex and Sophie’s dad.” Whose comfy at-home pants are always covered in dog hair and bits of dried Play-Doh. Who just quietly smiles when Bitty chirps him about his ice rink vanilla lattes (which he drinks from a travel mug Bitty had customized with their kids’ drawings), because he’s chirped Bitty for years about the PSLs. Oh, my heart.
