Oh boy here I go again making grave mistakes.
jackal-of-games asked:
cue a very nervous and younger Exa peeking in to just say “Gods Above”
What in the converging timeline– “T’at… is where t’ey tend tae beh, aye…”
The younger looking Exa didn't know if he should be worried or if he should try his darndest to be friendly. He chose the later, thinking it better to restrain his worry and proceed as calmly (which was a tad visibly panicked) as he could muster.
"Well ugh sometimes..." He chuckled nervously "I ugh... I'm Xavier... Though my friends call me Exa!"
He stuck out a hand that more resembled a mix of a human hand and a bear paw. His face was far more human, with a set of blue eyes and a sheepish grin. He knew who she was, but yet he didn't really know her.
Blep
Exa can be found staring at the dash “Christ… have not missed much have i?”
@mythologyvincent depends on how you look at things.
The new exa stared for a solid second. “I have been litterally dead a full year, besides Aster, the only two faces I recall are @the-broken-monster (shard) and @sweet-chimera (honey), I come back and legit, it really looks like not much has changed!” he pauses “also yes I had to give those two a fucking shoutout, they’re still awesome dorks!”

cue a odd looking feline with green and red eyes and a perfect split fur pattern of grey and orange. Quietly walking around looking for something in the middle of the night when the light they had with them stopped working. "oh man..." and cue the traditional percussion maintenance attempts with plenty of room for this unsuspecting kitten to be spooked. [cus i wanna poke you]
This was how horror stories started, and unfortunately, the ‘monster’ for this one was already nearby.
The feline was at the edge of what the naga considered his territory, but the shining flashlight had caught his attention. The sounds of frustration only further earning his interest. Something new to play with...~
“come now... we are both gentlemen...” He was teasing right on back, continuing to play it dangerous, poking and prodding as he asked the next question. “Im sure the catch can be shared up front? surely I would have no chance if your playing this game of your design?”
Lucky for him that Vincent was more amused than irritated by the prodding, though the firewall did start closing in, “The catch is that nothing in the forest will be as it seems, and if I get you, then you’re mine, kleine Katze~ Now hurry up, before I decide that it’s better to slow roast you.”
“and say I win this game~?” he asked calmly backing up.
“I highly doubt you will, kleine Katze... But in the very unlikely event you do, we’ll just have to cross that bridge when we get there... Now enough stalling and start running. You only get a ten minute headstart.”
There was almost no room to move around in the middle of the firewalls now. They closed in, herding him towards the direction the naga wanted him to go. He wasn’t allowed to decline playing this little game...
The cat giggled this would be fun, not quite what he was expecting but not to out there. He turned running with a proper pacing. Intentionally limiting his speed, so he didn't tire out. Breathing and awareness was where that extra effort went.

the cat continued to wap the flash light well a odd accent, very much like a criminal emerged. “first choose to come into these woods then pick the most unreliable of flash light! ah gottverdammt...” the light flickered on finally illuminating all before him.
The light briefly illuminated something large watching from the trees, but it quickly vanished into the darkness again, accompanied by a faint rattling sound.
The naga circled slowly, quietly, flattening his spines so they wouldn't catch on the surrounding plants. That was a different voice than before... a split individual? Either way, they might be interesting to keep around. He needed more time to observe before deciding for real.
he was startled slightly by the sight, small curses being blurted out in german before the young lad stopped, closed his eyes focusing on other senses. He may have done this before for different purposes than what he was checking for now. Admittedly he wasn't getting much but he was getting enough to know whatever he saw was real. he turned going to head back.
“Ill need to re-evaluate that info...” he spoke to himself.
Still circling to position himself better, Vincent threw his voice, which hissed out just ahead of the feline’s current path, L̵̘̄ē̸͍a̷̝͑v̸̢̀i̵̳̾n̴̺͛g̷̟̿ ̴̹͠s̶̡̛o̴̞̽ ̸͍̽s̵͎̏õ̷̹o̶̧̕n̷̞̾?̵̯͝ ̴̘̉ ̵̢̌I̴͔̋ ̵̹͋d̸͓̔ǫ̵̎n̸͙͝'̷̰̑t̷̬͂ ̷͍̂t̸̺́ḣ̸͕ĩ̷͔n̶̛̩k̸̪͊ ̷͎̈́ś̵̱o̴͈̒,̷̱͆ ̶̢̀k̵̩͆l̴̯̐é̸̼i̴̛̗ṅ̸̠ě̸͎ ̷̱̉K̸̢̊a̵̮̾ṯ̷̃z̸̫̈́e̶͈̋,̵̦͘ ̵̣̀Ȋ̶̠ ̴̱́h̸̻̽ã̴̗v̸̮̈́ȅ̴̫ṅ̶̪'̷̤͌ẗ̸̢ ̴̪̽ḣ̶̺a̸͎̓d̵͍͝ ̵͉̇m̴̮͆y̷͙̾ ̵͉̈f̶̩̿ú̵̘n̸͖͛ ̸̝̈́y̷̙͊e̷̲̕t̷͎̎~̶̘́
If it had the intended effect, he could herd the other into his territory and really start the fun~ It had been a while since he’d used illusions for a game.
The cat listened to the voice pausing his advance back to where he started. Fear was a hard beast to tame but this mind pushed it aside like it was nothing. He was not going to turn around outright and simply altered the path to try and go around the other.
There was a low growl, then a wall of fire sprang up before the feline, spreading out several yards before before beginning to curve around to cut him off entirely.

Vincent was going to get his entertainment out of this little kitty one way or another... If the direct method was how he needed to do it, then fine.
The cat stopped watching this occure, whatever was controlling him at this exact moment smiled, of all things to do. He set the flash light down slowly ensuring the white and black gloves on his hands were firmly in place.
“Very well then... bedrohliche Stimme, what is this game?”
The hidden naga smirked. There appeared to be two very different personalities in this little kitty...
Chuckling, he manipulated his firewall to make a path leading into his part of the forest, "It's a very simple game. Go in and find a way back out before I catch you~"
“So a game of Katz ‘und maus?” he spoke waiting a moment as if his captor would appear, this was one hell of a way to tempt fate. “there is always a catch, so what is it?”

though the teddy didnt have an effect Jax quietly peeked in on Aster. "...I heard a squeak?"
Aster would nod softly, showing Jax the plushie. He started feeling like he was being dug into with sorrow. Something wasn't clicking in him besides knowing this little thing hurt him a little.
"huh looks like Exa..." He said walking in to look closer. He was among those few who knew things fell apart. To know the split and the collapse, but never why.
He'd flick his ears at that, the name was something that didn't want click into place for him. But it did make him have the urge to start crying. He didn't understand.
"...do I need to explain again?"

Okay, If you're done with the child questions or don't know how to answer how about Neda and Exa?
Tumblr must have ate it so here:
Name: Tsavorite“rite” for short
Gender: Ambiguous (prefers he/him despite looking more feminine)
General appearance: despite the direct heritage Rite is a black lynx with a sort of leaky looking pattern of splotched fur coming from their eyes and snout that is a deep shade of green forming a almost slime like skull. One eye has turned black with a red iris well the other is normal with a shade of green for a iris.
Personality: they are a isolationist oddly enough, who enjoys dark themes. they are typically very caring to those in need and trust fully
Special Talents: oddly enough they are the most stealthy person with a tie to the Wilkonson family. Also suffers from a similar situation as Exa does with Falter. When beaten to near death a burst of rage hits and its like they aren’t them self (note: they’re not in this case)
Who they like better: Neda, because he knows he cant argue with the papa bear so best be nice to the mama
Who they take after more: Exa, has a unknown love for war.
Personal headcanon: Rite is known to take part in the occult in numerous ways, from smashing cults to helping them if intentions are pure enough. This behavior seems to have been learned from Jax.
I’m loving the visuals here. Honestly has me super invested in the whole story since I know little of your AU and I really want to think of how Neda would have a child with him and their relationship.
I like the mental picture of the kid themself. Like I want to adopt them. I need more time to absorb this cutie. 🖤0🖤
“Do you know who I am?” asks a Rather annoyed-looking Cat woman, yellow eyes piercing through the dark...
Aster would cock his head to the side, his eyes not quite focusing on her. Nor anything really, taking a soft breath before speaking.
“Not one of my kind, but that’s a better thing than being one of them,” he’d reply, his eyes still wandering a little as he twitched his ears to listen to try to focus.
“But whether the big smudge or the little smudge is the question~? Mind answering that?”
“his child…” she corrected. “Half the monsters I deal with are brought on by the idiots paying me… sometimes I leave them to their fate.” she turned looking him dead in the eye. “This also does not explain why you keep stealing however-”
the dragon with a huff reminded them both of its presence… and without moving a rumbling voice broke growl “you, are in my cave…” it explained to the both of them. “can I least get rent?”
“You haven’t been living here for centuries,” he’d half scoff at the dragon, but he’d unhook a pouch from his side and toss it at the dragon’s paws.
He’d arch a brow at her.
“Wasn’t his for long. There are no kids there, if you wanted to retort on my thefts,” he’d reply, moving himself around the room with a swish of his form.
Shaking his head and stretching out again with a huff, having some doubt to be listened to.
the dragon caught it, seemingly shrugged and slowly trotted out. A sight that resulted in the witcher just staring wondering what the fuck was going on.
“...no there is one...” she replied cooly. “his mother was so scared she locked him and herself in their home... refuses to come out.” she explained. “and he just got sick... because the supplies they set aside for children suddenly vanished with the kids. now care to explain where the kids went to?”
