While we’re on the subject the press hasn’t mentioned once since 2015 that Trump unsuccessfully tried to run for president in 2001. He entered the primary season on Ross Perot’s Reform Party ticket. trump exited quickly after Jesse Ventura publicly smacked him down for trying to wrestle the party leadership away. He wasn’t the political outsider or newcomer he claimed to be when he came done that damned elevator.
