I resent the idea of ~sisterhood~ honestly. No, I’m not going to support every annoying racist white girl because we’re both women. It just makes me take everything else they say less seriously. Yeah maybe people are being oppressive and shitty to you but I’ve seen how you act when you’re oppressive and shitty towards an acceptable Other and its deflect, deny, reverse victim and victimizer roles, etc. Even when it’s verifiably true that you’re being unfairly harassed or attacked, I just remember you engaging in the same behavior and my brain shuts off any interest in following that story. That’s probably a terrible reaction to have but I don’t think it’s cute that white women’s victimization always has to be taken more seriously and has to be more central in conversation than any of the victimization white women inflict which is always minimized and dismissed and any attention placed towards is considered itself to be oppressive. I’m just not interested in playing into that kind of blatantly obvious emotional manipulation.
