i wrote a fan letter to hugh for this fan event being organised last year, and i thought that was so cute. i wanted to send something i made for him too but i was a bit too busy at the time to post it.😔

I don't think we'll have any fan fiction authors soon. No one supports them by leaving reviews or doing reblogs. The amount of Logan fic is almost nothing. It's not because of it being a small fandom, it's because no one cares to support artists. People just want to take and take and not give anything back. Not even two or three sentences of appreciation. Saying 'great story' isn't enough. Artists deserve meaningful feedback that makes them feel joy and that all their hard work was worth it. Artists will soon learn not to give anymore because what's the point if no one cares or they just feel used and unappreciated?

i would like to start off by saying that yes there is this problem of fanfic authors not getting enough feedback that isn't just a "yay good job!" or "i love this!" i also write fics for logan (and other characters and fandoms) and i definitely agree that it is very rare to see the meaningful feedback you're looking for.

but i would also like to say that:

you need to consider the fact that fic authors have lives outside just writing fics. they're in school or at work or have responsibilities that do not let them have that time that they want to write fics.

also consider that people who read fics don't have time to give fics that they like their immediate reaction due to reasons aforementioned.

hugh was white dilf of the month when deadpool and wolverine released, and now we have no idea if he's in avengers: doomsday or not (my money is on that he is but i am also fucking delusional ha!).

I can’t even imagine how pathetic one has to be to have such meltdowns over a celebrity’s relationship. Just outing themselves as losers and not even realizing how insane they look.
